Rengoku POV

I wake up with the sun cracking through the walls of the house. The rays hitting my eyes when I opened them. I rub my eye and try to get up but something holds my left hand down.

It was (M/n), the weight on my arm was (M/n)

"For such a small demon, you're really heavy on my arm" I struggle to move my arm

I eventually resort to just picking up (M/n) with both my arms and placing him elsewhere.

I stand up and walk out the building. The sunrise is beautiful and entrances me

"What I beautiful sunrise!" I exclaim happily

I look down at my chest and my expression goes blank. It was covered in mud from yesterday. The mud had dried down completely and started to crumble a bit.

I want to wash this off, but I don't know if I should. I should ask (M/n) if I can.

Walking into the building I walk to the sleeping demon. I sit down next to his sleeping face and wait for him to wake up. Honestly if you walked into the sight of a man smiling and waiting for a demon to wake up, you'd probably walk away disturbed.

"(M/n) doesn't look like they're going to wake anytime soon"

I poke at (M/n)s face. He doesn't seem to react at all. I poke his face again. Still no reaction.

"Please wake up (M/n)" I whine

I keep poking (M/n)s face but it doesn't work at all. I pinch his cheeks and (M/n) starts drooling in his sleep.

"Why won't you wake up?"

I get up and drag (M/n) out the door. I place him against a tree and look at him. Does he need blood or something? Come to think of it (M/n) hasn't eaten anything ever since I met him.

"Maybe all he needs is blood!"

I cut my arm with a sharp stick and put my arm is (M/n)s mouth. The blood drips into (M/n)'s mouth but he still doesn't react.

Maybe he just needs more?

I keep my arm in his mouth. I turn back at the sun, it's rising higher and starts to shine its rays (M/n)'s skin. After a few minutes I feel a tug on my arm. I turn around and see (M/n) with his hands around my arm and his face his red.

"What are doing idiot?" (M/n) throws my arm back at me and stands up.

"I'm sorry you weren't waking up!"

(M/n) pauses at my statement and looks back at me "Look I don't eat blood. I absorb the suns light" he looks away and stares at the sun. "Thank you for taking me out of that dark building if I go out of the suns light for too long, My body will begin to think I'm dying and try to preserve itself by making me sleep until sunlight touches me."

"N-no problem (M/n) that's exactly what I was trying to do!" I smile

(M/n) turns around and looks at me and raises his brow. "You were?"

"Of course!"

"You suck at lying"

"Why did you want to wake me up?"

"Ah yes! I wanted to ask if I could get this mud off me...."
