Wake up

"WAKE UP"

(M/n) shoots up from his slumber. His hand moves from his side to his forehead touching it. "Is it over?" (M/n) takes his hand off his forehead and looks at his palm. Blood.

"How long have I been asleep?" (M/n) wipes his hand on his side and checks his surroundings. The place he was in was dark, the only source of light coming from a hole on top of him. "What is this place?"

(M/n) gets up from his position and walks to the wall. He touches the wall. "It can't be.... Am in the exact cave I was in when I took my slumber....but where's the exit?" (M/n) looks around for any sign of an exit.

"I can't find one... I guess I'll have to break my way out of here." (M/n) examines the hole of light at the top of the cave. (M/n) jumps and punches the hole. "Ah crap I forgot I'm in a cave-." A pile of rock falls on (M/n). (M/n) breaks the rocks on top of him and stands on the rubble

The sun Pierces through the trees and glares bright on (M/n) arms. Burning him. "Eh it'll grow back" (M/n) jumps out the hole and the suns rays hit every part of (M/n)'s body. "Hm it's good to know my healing factor overpowers the sun." (M/n) sighs and sits down "Hmmm I don't know how but the outside world feels different somehow.." (M/n) says while touching the soft dirt

(M/n) stands up after a while and immediately covers his nose and mouth, smelling something awful "What is that?" (M/n) follows the trail of the smell. The closer (M/n) walks to the source of the scent the more he can recognize and distinctively the smell "Blood, a lot of it.... And the smell of regret"

(M/n) stops at a small house "This is where the smell is coming from, Welp I'm heading inside." Opening the door and closing it. While walking inside (M/n) sees a horrid scene. Two people on the ground, One brutally stabbed and beheaded. The other has a clean cut on his neck and his eyes frozen in terror.

"This looks like a-." Before (M/n) can finish what he's about to say he hears the door creak open "Looks like we have company" (M/n) whispers slightly annoyed

"M-my mother and father are in here! P-please s-save them slayer!" A girl cries

"Don't worry I'll take care of it" A man says, presumably the slayer the girl is talking about

Before (M/n) can break through the house wall and leave the scene a guy yells out at (M/n)

"Demon! You have no place to run, stand down and accept your fate" The man says

(M/n) stares at the male figure. His burgundy hair standing out and the mark on his face

"You have a demon slayer mark..."

The man lunges at (M/n)s neck. (M/n) is late to react and takes a slice at his neck. But just as fast as his neck gets cut his neck heals in almost an instant, the katana getting stuck in his neck.

The man is taken aback by this and loosens his grip in shock. That spilt second he does (M/n) jumps away and breaks the wall of the house running away into the forest.

The man is surprised and shocked at this. "Demon's can't survive out in the sun... How is he able to run?" The man looks down at his hand "M-My sword! I loosened my grip and that damn demon took it with him.." The man stands up and eyes the demon running in broad daylight, a crow flies to him.

"Tell the rest of the slayers we missed one."

The crow flies away with the message.

"Demon no matter where you run I will find you" The man says while turning away "Follow me young girl and let's give your parents a proper burial"

"Mother and father...."

"Don't worry little one, I'll kill that demon and avenge your parents" The man gives the girl a big smile and holds her hands

"Now.. let's get burying"
