"Dragon!"

Dragons.

"Take it down!"

"Light fury!"

A beast that could kill a man in a heartbeat.

"Is that Wind Dancer?!"

Every passing day, is filled with vikings being killed by dragons.

"Ready the catapults!"

But every passing day.

"Keep it steady!"

Is filled with thousands of dragons.

"Steady..!"

Being shot out of the air.

"Fire!"

I live in a world.

So cruel, dangerous, hell, it will give you nightmares to talk about for years.

Repeatedly returning to haunt you every time you wake.

A never ending reality you can't escape from.

You just gotta do your best to survive.

"Alright Banshee another day on watch what's on schedule?" The dragon turned to look at me as she trotted over to grab ahold of my calendar I've made on paper. She gently brought it over in her mouth and handed it to me. "West? Didn't we check the west two days ago? Whatever doesn't matter, let's move it!"

"Alrighty Mew, Fog, keep your guards up, Von check above the clouds, I'll call in case something comes up, if so, watch from the clouds, we're gonna need your eyes, Tug, go with Von and stick with him in the clouds, come in as backup." I told my dragons as we continued fly.

Distant shouting.

My hands flew up as I put my hand in a palm, stopping all the dragons to stop. I pointed forward and we all flew close to the approaching ship. "What are they doing?" I mumbled just so me and Banshee could hear. I pulled my dragon up into the clouds causing Mew and Fog to follow behind.

We flew up just out of shot range and watched from the clouds circling to make no noise. I watched from my spyglass curious and desperate to know if this was friend or foe.

Dragons in cages.

"Dragon hunters."

Dragon cries.

"We gotta get them out." I said as I turned Banshee to look at the others. "Here's the plan."

Hunters shouted as I dove down into the dragon ship. A mask so cold it could be unbearable for most. Covering my face as we dove down seconds before hitting the freezing cold water. I could feel the cold freezing breeze against my hands as I held onto my dragons saddle. I pulled back on the saddle when we were a couple feet away from the boat so we didn't crash into the ocean.

They knew we were there now.

Time to have some fun.

I watched as Banshee shot her beam at the ships. The ship caught fire the second it touched the boat. Hunters yelled as some jumped into the water while some toughed it out and pointed their catapults at my dragon.

According to everyone the fury family went extinct years ago, but I knew that was false. I've known Banshee ever since she was a hatching in an egg and ever since I trained her to battle along my side to defend herself. She never left my side till this day.
