The Practical Exam

Beep, Beep, Beep.

I am awakened from my slumber my alarm blaring in my ear. I contemplate turning it off and going back to sleep but I suddenly remember. I have the UA entrance exam. I quickly brush my covers and make my way to the bathroom, trying to take as minimal time I can. Showering, Washing my face, and brushing my teeth. The course of the speed in which I'm fixing up in must be inhuman, you would assume I am using a quirk, but not possible. Just the fear of being late pushing my muscles to their utmost extent. I finish in the bathroom quicker than I have ever before and I am changing into the only clothes I have in my closet, a pair of leggings and the most basic hoodie you could conjure up, but beggars can't be choosers, and the right not Im begging not to be late to this exam.

I don't want the first impression these teachers have of me to be that I'm not punctual becuasae that can set a tone and first impressions are everything, so I better not screw this up. I quickly slide my shoes, run downstairs grab a piece of toast, put it in my mouth, and scream bye to my parents, if they are even here. I slip my phone and my knives in my pockets leave to catch the bus, and put my headphones in my ears, and sat in my anxiety.

Time skip cause I'm probably boring you.
my

I entered the building, struggling to make my way to the assembly area where they would introduce the exam. As I was walking there I was thinking to myself if I would get accepted because I'm quirkless, but I bet my physical skills without my quirk compared to anyone is better. Living on the streets most of your life makes you learn how to read people and defend yourself. I will personally score the highest just t show those bullies in middle school who have the guts to still become heroes after being abusive to those who do not share their abilities but have 10x more potential than they will ever have in their life.

I find the assembly area and take a seat next to this girl. Her ears seem to be some type of ear jack, which must be her quirk. She has short purple hair and is looking down at her hand muttering to herself and shaking. She kept looking up at the stage anxiously for the instructions portion to begin and I couldn't help but relate to how she was feeling so I decided to introduce myself. Just so she doesn't feel as nervous and will have a friendly face if she gets accepted to UA

"Hey, my name is Tomoka Akira, what's yours?" I say getting her attention.

"M-my name is Jirou Kyoka, n-nice to meet you Tomoka-san,"

"Nice to meet you Jirou-san."

I see a hero just approaching the stage and can see the assembly is about to start, so I part with these words so that her nerve relax just a bit,

"Good luck on the exam, I hope we get in the same class," I say with a small smile, she gives me her tiny smile

"Good luck to you too, I hope so too." She says with a little smile while turning to the big screen where pro hero, Present Mic explains the rules of the exam.

"What's up UA Candidates, thanks for tuning into me. Come on and let me hear ya!"

His statement was followed by silence,

"keeping it mellow, huh? That's find I'll skip straight to the main show. Let's talk all about how this practical exam's going to go down, okay? ARE YOU READY!?"

Still, no one dared utter a word

"As it says in the application requirements, you listeners will be conducting ten-minute mock urban battles after this! Three different types of faux villains are stationed in each battle center.

You earn points for each of them based on their level of difficulty.

1 Point - Easy Villains2 Points - Medium Villains3 Points - Hard Villains

And of course, the 0 pointer, which doesn't have any points so you should just avoid them.

Your goal, dear listeners, is to use your Quirks to earn points by immobilizing the faux villains."

WHen he was done with the explanation and we were making our way to the arena, th ere was only one thing going through my mind.

I better kill and 0 pointer

Time skip

"GO"

When that word was screamed, I ran at full speed pulling out my knives and slashing robots left and right. Since these robots were quite big, I had to do a lot of maneuvering. I found the robot's pressure spots by looking at them, where are they the faults in manufacturing so I could quickly put them down and help those who were injured at the time because there were a lot of examinees on the floor after fighting their hearts out. I couldn't just leave them because they couldn't just be discarded on the floor just as I was.

I was evacuating another injured person, I heard some gearing behind me and guessed that my wish had finally come true, the 0-point robot. I ran at it with some people watching me, I ran and jumped 10 feet in the air landing on the robot's arm, running up it. I knew there was more to the 0-point robots than they were letting on, so I decided to test my theory. While it was trying to get me off, I noticed some wires sticking out of its neck, that must be its weak spot. I jump up, blocking his other arm trying to swipe me off and while I'm landing, I slash at it's at its neck 2 times and gently land. I turn around twirling my knife and listening to it malfunction and fall. Partially because I wanted to make sure everyone was ok, and partially because I knew it would look cool.

I heard a few "Oh my god" and "Well shit" in the crowd around the area I just killed this robot. Conveniently, the buzzer rang through the exam arena and produced the exam results. ( vp: villain points, rp: rescue points

1 Tomoka Akira 80Vp 52Rp
2 Bakugo Kastuki 77Vp 0Rp

I didn't read more than that, because we were quickly ushered off the arena and I made sure to remember that name, Bakugo Kastuki, he may be someone dangerous if I don't watch out. After the results were shown they said we could leave the place, and I starting to walk to the exit and make my way to the bus go home. But, on my way through the school, I saw a familiar head of purple hair, Its Jirou.

"Hey, HEY Jirou-san!" I shout as I run to her waving, she turns and sees me, and I see her eyes widen a bit and she starts to walk towards me.

"Hey Tomoka-san, good job on the exam," She says with a small smile.

"Thanks, How did you do?"

"I-i rather not say," She says looking down and fiddling with her jacket zipper.

"Ok, That's fine, but I'm sure you did great. I really hope we both end up in the same class next year, it will be nice to have a familiar face" I say, smiling at her

"Of course, me too, I hope to see you on the first day. I'm sorry but I have to leave, my parents are her. Bye!" she says waving and walking backwards.

"Yeah, me too. Bye," I said running to catch my bus, thinking if I would ever see her again.
