The journey to the Eastern lands of Hammerfell was long and frot with danger from war zones, to bandits to even the dangerous animals and monsters that now roamed the Eastern half of the once unified Kingdom of Redguards.
Muhsin had chosen both Brynjolf and J'zargo to accompany Sunna to meet with the ancient being he had made contact with knowing that the pair would do anything to protect the daughter of their friend.
"Brynjolf, J'zargo what was my father like?" Sunna asked her two companions curiously for the question had been on her mind since childhood.
She had asked her mother about him over the years but she stopped asking after she noticed the pain it caused her but now she had two people before her who could share what they knew without bringing up sad memories.
Brynjolf was the first to answer her.
"I met your father back in old Riften where he helped me and my...organization settle a business matter, after that the two of us became thick as thieves," he replied with a warm smile.
The last part of his story caused J'zargo to burst into such uncontrollable laughter that he nearly fell off of his camel.
The old Nord shot him a glare while Sunna only gave him a look of confusion.
"What do you want me to do flat out tell her that her father was once a member of the thieves guild?" Whispered Brynjolf to J'zargo as he rolled his eyes at the old cat.
Recomposing himself J'zargo reminded his Nord friend that telling her the truth would be better for if the roles were reversed he would want someone telling him what really happened instead of lying to protect his feelings.
Brynjolf agreed with J'zargo, for he too would want the truth if he were in her shoes and so he began to tell Sunna about everything that really transpired the day he met her father.
Though she did not approve of stealing due to the honorable upbringing, her mother had given her Sunna still found herself fascinated by the tales the old Nord had about his life in the guild.
She even enjoyed the stories J'zargo told her of her father's time in the college of Winterhold and how he had saved them all the folly of Ancano an Altmer mage who nearly doomed them all in the name of greed and power.
As the young woman continued to listen to the tales that involved her father she noticed that the theme was always along the lines of him saving people and standing up for what was right and that made her feel a growing pride for the man she had never met.
The three rode on towards the mountains where they were supposed to meet another who had known her father and try and gain his support in backing her for the throne of her grandfather's kingdom.
On nearing the summit of the mountain the trio began to notice that something was spooking the horses.
"Be wary for something big and dangerous is lurking just beyond our sight," whispered J'zargo to his two companions his cat senses sending off warning signals.
"I don't see anything," replied Sunna scanning the rocks and the peaks around them for any sign of the threat J'zargo spoke of.
All of a sudden three dragons one gold, one red, and the other green all flew down from the sky and landed on the ledges before them.
"Greetings Dilos," spoke the Golden Dragon who was perched in the middle "I hear you seek our aid in a coming war?"
Sunna stepped forward and told him who she was and why she was and that it was true that she was seeking out friends of her father to help her reclaim her birthright.
The ancient dragon introduced himself to her and the others as Paarthurnax the Dragon who had aided her father in defeating the world eater Alduin.
He and the other dragons agreed to help them in reclaiming the throne of Hammerfell but first, they required something in return for their help.
Deep within a ruin just inside the border of Skyrim lay the tomb of a Dragon Priest that held a relic of immense power that they wished to have returned to them.
Sunna agreed and she and the others set out for Skyrim to complete the task given to her by her new allies.
