With the encouragement of my sister, I'm back. So bestie, this one is for you!

I wandered around the BAU with my mug of coffee in my hand and watched as Spencer sighed in annoyance at his computer. I decided I was going to surprise him and make him a mug of coffee too.
I made my way back to the machine and grabbed Spencer's mug out of the cupboard. I ran my thumb over the nametag he kept around the rim of the mug and placed it under the coffee machine. I selected Spencer's favourite coffee and left it to run while I grabbed his lactose-free milk out of the fridge.
Once the mug was filled with coffee, I added his milk to the top, placed the carton back in the fridge and made my way back to his desk. He'd left by the time I got there to take a file up to Hotch's office. so I left the mug on his desk, just above his notebook. Without meaning to, I looked at his notebook and noticed my name, along with his in the notebook and they were surrounded by a heart. It looked like the doctor had a crush.
Deciding to mess with him a little, I grabbed one of his pens and a sticky note from the corner of the desk and replicated the heart drawing. I stuck it to the desk under his notebook so it would take him a little while to find it.
Throughout the day I kept an eye on Spencer, waiting for the blush to spread across his cheeks. It happened just after lunch when he picked up his notebook to write something down from the computer screen and he noticed the pink square where his notebook had been. Originally he missed what was on it and just saw the colour of it but I noticed him do a double take and then he read what was on it. He blushed and then ripped the note up, throwing it in the bin before I could respond.
A few days later I did the same thing and I noticed Spencer look around the room before analysing the writing. Thankfully I had the sense to change my handwriting to make it unrecognisable which confused Spencer further. This time he opened the drawer in his desk and placed the note in there to look at a further day.
Deciding to take it further, I walked up behind him, leaning down in his ear.
"Little crush on someone Dr Reid?" His head whipped around and a blush spread across his cheeks at the sight of me.
"Hi. Uh, no?" I reached over him and picked up his notebook, flicking through the pages until I found his little sketch.
"This tells me something different". I pointed to the heart and watched Spencer as he looked at the clock on the wall. "This tells me you, Dr Spencer Reid, have a crush on me. Am I correct?" He nodded and I rested my hand on the back of his neck.
"Yes. You're correct. You're just so beautiful". I poked the back of his head and went to walk away but he reached for my hand. "Go on a date with me?"
"Ummm. Yeah. After work one day?" He nodded and a smile came over his face. It was nice to see him happy, as well as knowing that I was the one to make him this happy.
I was going on a date with Spencer Reid and I was very happy about it.
