Kiara picked up JJ, Pope and Belle from JJ's house taking the three to the obx summer movie, Belle didn't really want to go but Kiara insisted so they could have at least one peaceful and relaxing night before it was back to gold hunting. Belle wanted to avoid Figure Eight as much as she wanted especially after what happened with Rafe earlier that day.
"i'm so glad that they're still doing this. keep calm. carry on. back to OBX life. you know? aren't you guys glad i made you come?" Kiara asked the three who avoided eye contact.
"ecstatic." Pope sarcastically said.
"my couch was pretty comfy, i'll be honest." JJ added next.
"i agree with JJ." Belle tossed her bag down.
"come with me to get drinks?" Kiara held her hand out for Belle which she took.
"hey, uh.. can i get three pepsis, please?" Kiara asked the vendor.
Belle looked down at her shoes flopping her sandal up and down when she felt someone behind her.
"hey, Kie. Belle. hey, what's up?" Rafe asked the two girls, Belle tensed up keeping her eyes away from him.
"how are you two?" Rafe asked.
"we're fine." Kie rolled her eyes turning to the Kook.
"good, good. um.. tell your boy that we know what he did." Rafe told her, Belle glanced up at him then at Kiara.
"sorry, what boy are you talking about?" Kiara asked again.
"uh, he'll know." Rafe said, Kiara turned around walking away.
"bye."
"douche."
Belle grabbed her soda when Rafe pulled her back facing him, "what." she snapped.
"here's some money to get those books fixed." he held up a few heavy dollars.
"no thanks. i'm sure i'll be fine, have been since i was thirteen." she spat pushing him away.
"besides, that's daddy's money, isn't it?" Belle walked back to Kiara who waited up for her.
"did he just-"
"tried to. it's all Ward's money anyways, Sarah came by the other day asking if i wanted a job on his boat." Belle informed her opening her can of soda.
