Order of Guardians | Daminette

Prologue

3rd Person POV

After 'Miracle Queen' happened, Master Fu having to pass guardianship to Marinette after being found out by HawkMoth. Having no recollection or memory of the Miraculous, Kwami's, or ever being a Guardian. Ladybug and Chat Noir decide to not want to interfere with the 186 year old man, Marinette taking her former master to the train, with Marianne accompanying him.

Although, Marianne knew Wang Fu had some business with the miraculous, she still loved him. Even if he doesn't remember her, she would still love him. Marinette was happy that Master Fu was able to reconnect with his lover, although it hurt with the unexpected events she was glad she got to meet him. Plus, he can travel the world with Marianne and not have to worry of keeping a low profile and always hiding.

Reading the letter she finds a picture of Master Fu and herself, in black script on the back of the photo she reads 'and although I may not be able to continue teaching you I believe in you Marinette, I believe in you Ladybug and your partner Chat Noir. And when you defeat HawkMoth and Mayura I would like to ask you to visit the 'Order of Guardians' temple. There you can trust them and they can help you with being guardian of one of the Miraculous boxes. And when the teapot is ready, you can trust your partner with your identity. She smiles softly looking back at the picture, standing up heading back home, the miracle box in hand.

Couple months later

Heading to school Marinette make sure to grab some croissants and cookies for Tiki before heading out the door. Once there she makes her way towards her seat to Alya, about to sit down only to get a snappy retort from her.

"What are you doing?" Confused, she replies "What do you mean? This is where I usually sit, next to you." "Not anymore. Where not friends after what you did to Lila." "What did I do to her I just got here." Marinette replies back, picking back up her backpack and standing up.

"What I mean is how you were tormenting Lila over the weekend, was that why you couldn't hang out on Saturday? Was that the 'emergency' that was so urgent." She seethed. "What?! No. I had to help my parents out in the bakery, it was a busy day and they were having a hard time maintaining the customers orders. They needed the extra help and I had volunteered to help them." Marinette replied back. How is Lila apart of any of this? More importantly when did she even come back to Paris? She barely even stayed for 1st semester last year. "Right" Alya scoffed rolling her eyes.

Deciding to push away the topic Marinette went to sit in the back, although it wasn't in the middle of the classroom as of before it was peaceful to say, besides her interaction with Alya and not being friends with her anymore.

Lunch soon came, and the day was odd. People were glaring at her other's questioning looks from hearing rumors from there peers. Why was everyone acting so strange? Was it because of what she was wearing, she made sure she wasn't in her pajamas right? Wouldn't want a repeat of last time.

When she reached the cafeteria, she looked for her usual table she sat at, which consisted of Nino,Adrien, Alya and herself. Though, when she looked towards that direction, she thought they were going to wave signaling for her to come over only to be glared at by Alya, Nino looking at his girlfriend questiongly, Adrien raising an eyebrow confused as well (who was unaware as to why everyone was acting weird as was Adrien). Since it was most likely best to not approach her usual seating she looks around for an empty table seat that isn't taken.

The next day Lila showed up in class. Marinette sitting in the back thinking as to why most were glaring at her the other day. The same thing happened as the day before glaring, snappy retorts (mainly from Alya), eating lunch by herself, basically the opposite of what she usually went through. After English finished break started. Marinette was packing up her books about to head out of the door but was approached by a crying Lila being consoled by an angry Alya.
