The Temple || ch.2

Marinette POV

The doors opened slowly revealing what she would guess was on of the Guardians. "Who are you?" They questioned. He were wearing a red and black robe looking cloak with black slip on shoes. To her he looked like some kind of ninja like in the movies. They had a symbol that looked identical to the miracle box she had. He was pretty tall to and had white hair.

Out of her daze she cleared her throat and introduced herself. "I am Ladybug current guardian of one of the miraculous boxes. It would be best if we discussed this inside." She said showing them the how oval shaped ladybug miracle box. They looked shock, seeing as there was never a guardian who wielded a miraculous as well. He nodded and led them inside making sure no one else was in site. 'How did she even know where the temple was? There was an illusion that was created so you could see only the mountain.' The Guardian thought.

Once inside it looked amazing. The red and yellow lines along the brown walls. As they were walking along the hallways the person who opened the door, name being Hugo guided them to the main area where other Guardians were present . She saw different drawings of the temple, and former holders of kwamis each having a different outfit.

They saw the looks of others wondering who they were, they had a look of seriousness and determination on guard is anything wrong happened. "Ms. Ladybug welcome to the Order of Guardians" Hugo said once they reached a room that had a large table with chairs surrounding it. "May I ask who you are and what are you doing here and from the Guardians and mine, we are curious on how your aware of the jewels?"

"The former Guardian (master fu formally known as Wang Fu) past Guardianship to me. It happened when we were fighting a terroist named HawkMoth and his partner Mayura, from my knowledge from Master Fu he had lost the Butterfly and Peacock miraculous when the temple fell, hence how it most likely ended up in the wrong hands. My team and I were fighting him for 3 years and recently defeated him. Master Fu had asked I visit here as a favor for him."  She explained.  "As for my name, I'm Marinette Dupain-Cheng Stone. The others are Chloé, Nathaniel, Kagami, Luka, Adrien, Kim, Alix, Max and Gorilla." She introduced while pointing to them.

"Master Fu? Wang Fu? We've heard of that name..... He was the one that caused the temple to fall when he was doing the test. He's the reason we've been gone for over 10 years! He doesn't deserve to have a title of being a Guardian nor master" One of the other Guardians exclaimed.

"I beg to differ." Ladybug began. "Yes he made mistakes but everyone does. My team and I have as well. He taught Chat Noir(my partner) and I about the miraculous and informed us of how Kwami have power ups."

From there other Guardians started adding in there own comments. Forming a huge debate around the table.  Ladybug and those accompanying her standing, still standing tall.

"How can she be a Guardian?!"

"If  Fu didn't create that senti-monster who knows how many years ago we wouldn't have vanished like that!"

"These children had to fight another holder for 3 years!"

"A guardian can't maintain the box and be a weilder of one of them!" Another said.

The kept on continuing until Ladybug silenced the room.

"Enough! Yes I may be a 'child' as you put it but I am more than capable of having a responsibility like this than you believe. That senti-monster that was created was named feast. My partner fought him in the past and that's how the temple was restored once again. My team has seen a lot including the parisians (who both witnessed or have been akumatized by HawkMoth.) Like I said everyone makes mistakes, and I trust Master Fu. The reason I came was so I can learn more about being a Guardian. I also want the Kwami to feel safe, now that Nooroo and Dussuu are back with the others. It has also come to my attention that  the peacock miraculous was damaged and I was hoping if there was a way to fix it." Her voice holding tone that you would use to command someone.

"Let us discuss this. We'll have one of the others lead you to where the living room is." A female Guardian said before any of the others could pitch in there own comment, as the miraculous team were lead to the living room.

3rd Person POV

After some time past they were still waiting for what they having to say. "Was this really a good idea you guys?? I mean what if there right, I don't know the things that they do. What if I'm not fit to be a Guardian." Marinette was in deep thought of the interaction she had earlier.

"We might not have met Master Fu formally like you and Chat you're a great Guardian bug. You take care of the Kwamis. You also reunited Nooroo and Dussuu with the others. You made them feel safe. Stop doubting yourself." Bunnix replied as the others agreed.

Soon the other Guardians came out and entered the living room. "We had a discussion of you being Guardian and were willing to teach you and train you. You may stay in the rooms  that are. currently empty. We'll also offer training to the others."

"Yes, thank you.  I promise I'll prove I have what it takes to be Guardian."

"We'll show you your rooms and bring dinner. Training starts tomorrow meet us in the dining hall and you don't have to be in your hero form as you stay. We can also fix the peacock miraculous." They added.

"Yes and again thank you." She said as some of the Guardians showed them to there rooms.

Marinette POV

She was led to her room and brought dinner. She thanked them then she called off her transformation "Spots off."

"So how did it go?"Tikki asked as her holder gave her some cookies she packed.

"Great! They said they were going to train the others and I tomorrow and they offered us a place to stay, here."

"That's amazing Marinette! You're going to love it here. Oohhh~ I can't wait to see the others."

"Others?" Marinette questioned.

"Yes the other kwamis, all the Guardians here are just like you, Guardians of the Miraculous Box. Hugo the one you met is the one for the Native Americans Miraculous Box. (the dude from the New York special, don't know his real name I just gave him one.)

The duo chatted for a while while eating there dinner. When they finished Marinette got ready for bed and said goodnight to Tikki. She had a feeling she was going to like it here even if it was going to be for two months. Like Tikki said, she was going to enjoy the place.

Sorry this one is kind of short but for the next one it's going to be about them spending time at the temple. I also wanted to space it out, since the next chapter might include a lot.
