Krystene had to agree that Brute's point was valid. That single statement had a big effect on whatever they knew about Devaant the cursed shell till now! They had to inform Dhawan about it. And Brute was sure that even Josh wasn't aware of that statement in the manuscript.
"We have to inform Dhawan about this as soon as possible", Brute said to Krystene.
They both started walking out of the room.
Brute wished he had noticed this statement the last time. If he had, so many people would not have died.
"Where to go?" asked Krystene, confused in the maze like corridor.
Brute looked around. He saw arrows scratched on the walls pointing towards a specific direction. These were drawn by Dunkirk so that they don't get lost in the corridors.
"Follow the arrows", said Brute and they started a jog in the direction the arrows were pointed towards.
It was 3:12 am now. Josh turned his worried expression into a gleeful smile while he turned his phone's screen towards Dhawan and others. Dhawan looked carefully at his screen. He could not see any cloud hiding the moon anymore.
"Jesus", Dunkirk muttered as the three, not knowing what to do, kept staring at Josh's screen.
Josh took his phone back and kept it on a table. "Even the Gods are now ready to accept their fate!"
"Don't do this, Josh," Dhawan said, "I know you had a struggling childhood and you blame the Gods for that. But please, don't do this."
Josh sneered. "I am going to do this, Dhawan. After all, I am doing this for the world to get freed from the Gods' rule. I am not doing this for the greed of thrones, like the Devas."
Josh still had the TeE in his hand. For a moment, Dhawan had thought to kill Josh, letting him press the TeE's button. But he couldn't help his hands to reach the fallen spear due to the fear of being responsible for the deaths of thousands of politicians.
Josh, with the TeE still in his hand, walked towards the cursed shell. He kept his hand on its smooth surface and closed his eyes. He tried to remember all the moments he enjoyed in his life as he knew that he this was the last minute before he would kill himself.
Now he opened his eyes. "The Devas drank the elixir to possess immortality. But that Amritwa-paan is now going to be the reason of their deaths. Their useless lives would come to an end, as they know nothing else than betraying. And they didn't only betray the demons. They have betrayed the humans too. And I, Joshua Todd Lamb, is speaking on the behalf of the betrayed. For the Gods, life is a game. But for us, who live on Earth, it is something which we don't get back after losing. You have played well with my mother's life, but now I am going to have a fair play from my side too. And this time, you will lose. For the first time, you will witness your defeat. You will witness our revenge. You will witness the end!" And he picked the conch-shell, and took it near his mouth to blow it. His mouth was just a few centimetres away from the shell's open end. Just a few centimetres away from his victory. Just a few centimetres away from the God's defeat. Just a few metres away from the reciprocation of the Samudra Manthan.
"Before you do anything," cried a voice from the entrance of the room, "I would like to make you aware of something."
Josh crossed his eye-brows and turned towards the voice while he lowered the shell with TeE still in his hand.
Dhawan, Stain and Dunkirk whirled back towards the entrance of the door too. There they saw Brute and Krystene standing with the manuscript which started everything in Brute's hand.
