Seeking the truth!

"Never shall I inform you about the hazards I have encountered over the years." Why would anybody live to see something like this! The terror in people's eyeballs, the fear in their body language. It's both terrifying and shocking. I've never desired to be a part of Academy G-15A.

I have always dreamed of joining Academy S-12A&B, one of the highest-ranking academies in district 9A. District 9A has exceeded 1-8 and 10, setting a record-breaking lead from the past 98-years. A consequence of the war is that District 9A has gone beyond its state unit without even crossing the lines.

So many years have passed since I was so close to what I wanted. I have worked hard just to be assigned to the second lowest-ranked district. District 4B! So I conducted a small experiment in the lab. Anyway, I need "Dynthnaflam". It's a chemical that you mix with water, bleach, and carbonated ice cream. Time to whip up this serum of truth just in case it's required.

"Dereon! what are you doing in the lab!" Ahh, Sargent Freeman, I'm sorry I was just looking for you. I heard you might be down here, and there you are! "Yeah, alright, here I am, so what do you want?"

Despite all his feelings and confusion, Dereon Parks would not say what's really on his mind. Then he spoke... May I ask you something, Sargent? "Yes, you may" why am I exactly in this district? "You Dereon, actually never mind" wait what? What were you going to tell me!?

Dereon had noticed then, and there, that something genuinely wasn't right. He went to the only other person he believes in the most.

Ruby! Sargent Freeman is acting strange about a question that I asked him. "What did you ask him, for Sargent just to freeze up on you?" Ruby graciously questioned him. I asked Why am I in this district? Ruby, I believe I don't belong here; something isn't right and you're coming with me! While Dereon and Ruby ascend to the vault's top, unknown dangers await them. Ringing inside of Dereon and Ruby's Head begins.
