Today will be the qualifying. It's actually more important than racing. If you got the wrong place, then the result could be bad, and could be good. Nobody can change their luck expect themselves.

Lando's hope for today is to drive calmly, not too focus and be patience so the car will stay the same look, just like before the qualifying. If he damage the car, he can't race tomorrow if it takes too much time to fix. And he don't want to waste McLaren's money for the car. It will cost billions dollars, and Lando don't want that happened.

The qualifying is 1 hour away, and this 1 hour is a chance for them to check some generator or the engine of the car. All crew don't want a bad luck. Nobody do. On Lando's way to the pit lane, he keep thinking about his nervous for today. If he make mistakes, he will makes everyone feel that's their fault however it's not.

And let me tell you one of Lando's habit. If he walk pass a wall or a pole above him, he will slam it for no reason. Maybe he's showing to people that he's tall. Everyone keep joking that he's a teenage boy. Lando don't get mad about it, but happy and funny. And they're not lying to be honest.

Tire gun, people's chat, that's all he can hear for now when he enter the garage. Lando still wearing his white shirt with orange stripe on the shoulder. That is McLaren's main shirt. He don't want to wear the suit yet. The weather is completely hot. It can hit more than 35°.

Lando give a fist bum which he always do with every crew or friend that he saw around him. He go to the front garage and straight to the pit lane however the sun is burning his skin. "Hey mate". Lando hear a similar voice from his left. He turn his head to recognize the person who's calling him.

"Since when you can say mate?" Lando joke Carlos, his lovely best friend aka his teammates.

"I don't know man, so, ready for the qualifying?" Carlos give a pat at his arm playfully when he's asking. People keep asking the same question and he's not sick of it, he just got scared everytime people keep reminding him about it. He need to be calm for a second.

Lando response his question with a shrug. Carlos still on his McLaren shirt, the reason is same as Lando's. They stop talking for 10 seconds. But then, something caught Lando's eye. A very pretty girl with brown hair, green eye almost same as his, and glowing face. "She must be the girl who lost yesterday". Lando thought.

She's standing at Mercedes garage with a man and a woman. "That must be her parents". Lando thought another in his mind. He's right, he just don't know if that's true.

Technically, Carlos is talking to him but he didn't hear anything what he said. Not even a word. Carlos want to know what is he looking at until make him mesmerized. Carlos gaze his look, a whistle escape his mouth. It break Lando's daydreaming looking at that girl.

"Oh, a girl huh". Carlos mess with him. Lando furrow his eyebrow and think how to fake it. "What? No, she's... just a girl, so?" Lando try all his best to convince his friend that he's not looking at her. Carlos rolled his eye and Lando received a smirk from him. It makes Lando turn red and don't know where to hide.

If Carlos or anybody know about he was with that unknown girl together yesterday, the media, the social media, the world, his friends, his crew, family, will go crazy. He can't show too many impressions on his face or the secret will be exposed and he will be dead.

Lando look away and wear his cap. So far, that's the only way that he can find to hide his red cheek.

Soon after, George walk up to them and break the silence. "Hey guys". George greet, a smile rest on his face with happiness. Lando and Carlos look at him with questioning face why he's here. He supposed to be on Williams but it don't cause any trouble to them if he's here.
