Tap. Tap. Tap Tap. Tap. Tap Tap Tap. Tap
I looked up from my book, seeing a shadow tapping on my window. I got up, setting aside my copy of Stephan Kings, Carrie and quietly opened my window. "Stiles? What are you doing here?"
"Shhh! You're gonna wake Scotty-boy up." He smiled, sliding into my room.
"With his music that loud he's already woken up China!" I hissed, closing the window.
His grin only spread further on his face, "Yeah but he won't hear us."
"Oh you dork." I smiled, pressing my lips gently against his. He kissed back, pushing my onto my bed.
I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him closer. His hand slipping up my shirt, I pulled away to take it off, reaching to take off his as well. Things were becoming heated, our lips pressed against each other and our hands wondering all over our bodies. "You have a condom?" he asked.
Reaching over and opening my bedside table I grabbed one, handing it too him.
BANG!
I jolted awake, my body curled into a fetal position with the blanket wrapped tightly in my arms. Awww fuck. I wished that was real.
"Case! Get up!" My older twin brother yelled, opening my door, "I think someone is trying to break in!"
I quickly got up, slipping on socks and my black and blue Vans. My pajama shorts and tank top will have to do for now. I slipped on one of my brother's old lacrosse sweatshirts. The maroon sweatshirt too big for me, stopping at my knees and the sleeves dangeling at least a foot from my arms. Yes, okay, I was a very short 16 year old.
"Stay right behind me." Scott said, holding up the McCall baseball bat.
We walked slowly down the stairs together, my hands tightly wrapped around his left arm. He was my big brother, he would protect me. He creaked open the door, leading me outside. "Hello?" He called.
"Scotty! That is not what you say if someone is trying to break in!" I hissed. It was the number one rule in horror movies: Be quiet and don't say 'Hello?'
"I don't care, Ca-AHHHHH!" We both yelled in fear as something fell from the roof.
"Woah, woah! Slow down! It's me! It's me, Stiles!" The voice said, "Do any of you play baseball?"
"Stiles! What are you doing here?" I hissed.
"Why are you holding a bat?" He asked Scott.
"I thought you were predator." Scott replied.
"A pre-? Nevermind, back to Casey's question." Stiles shook his head, "I overheard on one of m dads calls."
"Oh goody." I said sarcastically.
He winked at me, making my heart flutter. "Two joggers found a body in woods! The whole state law inforcement is looking for it!"
"Wait, if they found the body, what are they looking for?" Scott asked.
"That's the best part! They only found half!" Stiles squealed.
I laughed, watching Stiles fall off my roof and jump back up. "Yeah, i'm going to stay here. You two have fun." I said, taking a step back.
"Oh, no no no no. You're coming with us." Stiles said, hopping onto the porch.
"No. I am not going out into the woods. Tonight is the last day of summer. I would like to be fully rested." I explained.
