Holding Back

What's going on ?

Things go so up and down

And make me frown

When I see how I've grown .

I feel like escaping tears

When My heart does not fear

To tell you everything clear

To bring you more near .

You always are in my dreams

In which I see you gleam

And make me smile

Even when we live in long miles .

I've been trying to hold back

By placing my heart on that rack

But it doesn't work

And feels like I'm on a burning spark .

Times ticking away

I had to confess anyway

But you stopped looking at me that way

And left me hopeless . Break ? I may .

I dream of the day with the snow flakes

The smile that you make

Which makes me shake

Just beside a frozen lake .

Are you avoiding that feeling ?

Or are truly speaking ?

Is it your duty that's in your head mingling ?

Is that the cause of you avoiding ?

Are we both Holding Back for some reason ?
