A Collection Of My Heart's Pieces

My Dream

I couldn't remember ,

Any dreams for a while then ,

But finally , 

That one dream , stole all my attentions .

It showed faded and soft picture 

of you and me ,

on my dream's T.V. Screen .

You smiling brightly , 

With contact lenses on , 

I was just so busy ,

Admiring you . 

You took my hand ,

And pulled me close enough ,

Placed one hand on my waist ,

And held my hand firmly with the other . 

It felt magical ,

So sweet and soothing ,

To be in your arms like that ,

With my blushing cheeks .

It seemed you were wearing ,

That black bow of yours 

And smart formals in black and white ,

I was wearing a peach ball dress . 

No one was around us except the matted grass ,

But just the fluent music ,

Making my heart calm down 

Feeling safe there with you . 

Somehow , 

I didn't have a clue ,

That You were going to 

 Dance with me  .

You turned me on my toes ,

And pulled me to you with speed .

I gasped and smiled ,

When you whispered ' Don't worry , I've got you ' .

We danced like a prince and princess from Disney ,

You didn't stop looking in my eyes ,

And didn't increase the distance between us ,

But just kept me following your lead . 

The screen showed pictures of us ,

Sharing giggles ,

Sitting so close on the grass ,

Watching the setting sun ,

Gleam the last of it's lights .
