Arranged Marriage

Part 5

Jughead drove to work and helped his dad for a while until Hal got to the office.

Hal- Hey Jughead, Betty's supposed to come by after school...can you make sure she gets here?

Jughead- Yeah, we'll come.

Hal- I just need Betty, thank you.

Jughead- Um no, we will both be here when she's done with school.

Hal- A-Alright then.

He put on a fake smile like he was okay with it...but Jughead knew he wasn't and he knew what Hal wanted to do to her.

Hal went into his office and Jughead went back to doing all of his work.

When Jughead finished his work he checked his phone and saw that it was already 2:40.

He had to pick up Betty so he left the office and got in his car.

He drove back to Riverdale high and saw his blonde beauty already standing outside with a redhead, a raven haired girl and brunette.

He walked over to his girl and he wrapped his arms around her.

Jughead- Hey, how are you feeling?

Betty- I'm okay...Jughead, these are my friends, Archie, Veronica and Kevin.

He looked up at her three friends and all of their jaws were dropped.

Jughead- Hi guys.

Veronica- Hi handsome, wow B, I honestly didn't think you were serious when you said you were with someone.

Jughead- Actually, I'm her fiance.

Veronica, Kevin & Archie- WHAT?! Betty?!

Betty- Sorry, I didn't tell you that part. 

Kevin- Wait, B, you're getting married to this hottie?

Betty- Y-Yeah. (blushes)

Veronics- Damn girl.

Jughead- It was really nice meeting you guys but Betty, we should get going.

Betty looked down to the ground and nodded; but she didn't want to go.

Jughead took her hand and caressed it lightly while they walked to the car.

They both got in their seats and Jughead looked at Betty who was very nervous.

Jughead- Betty if you don't want to go, we don't have to.

Betty- If I don't go my dad will do something even worse than what he's planning to do. (tears)

Jughead- He won't do anything to you...I promise.

Betty- Jughead you're really sweet and I'm so thankful for you but you can't stop him...he will always get what he wants. (tears)

Jughead- No he won't, not this time...do you believe me?

Betty- I want to, but you don't know my father like I do. (tears)

Jughead- I've been working with him for a few years, I think I can handle him.

Betty looked into his eyes and nodded.

He took her hand and held it as they drove away; on their way to the office.

As they got closer and closer Betty became more nervous and anxious.

When they finally arrived, Jughead turned to Betty and took her hands in his. She was terrified.

Jughead- Betty...

Betty- I'm scared. (cries)

Jughead- I know but I won't let go of you.

Betty- Okay, let's just get this over with. (tears)

They both got out of the car and Jughead ran over to her.

He wrapped his arm around her shoulder and they walked into the office.

They went into Hal's office and he smirked as he saw his beautiful daughter.

Hal- Jughead, Elizabeth, hi. Jughead, could you leave us for a few minutes, I need to talk to my daughter?

Betty- J-Juggie, p-please don't go. (whispers)

Jughead- I told you, I'm not leaving you. Um Hal, if you have something you need to tell her, you can say it infront of me; we're getting married anyway.

Hal- I'd prefer to talk to her alone.

Jughead- Well, I'd prefer to stay with her.

Hal- Elizabeth, can you tell him to leave for a minute?

Betty- J-Juggie, c-can you leave f-for a f-few minutes? (tears)

Jughead- Betts I don't want to leave you. (whispers)

He gently placed his hand on her cheek and she leaned into him.

Jughead- Do you want me to leave or not? I won't go unless this is what you want. (whispers)

Betty- Just go, I-I'll be fine. (whispers)

Jughead- Are you sure?

She nodded and Jughead hugged her tight before he walked out of the room.

Once the door had shut Hal smirked at Betty and walked over to her.

She kept moving further back towards the wall but he grabbed her and held her down on the desk.

His hands were placed on her thighs and she tried to move away from his grip.

Hal- Elizabeth, stop fighting, you know what happens when you do.

She immediately stopped and let him do whatever he was doing.

Jughead on the other hand was standing outside the door trying to listen to what was happening...but he couldn't hear anything.

The walls were too thick.

He stood there for a few minutes until he suddenly heard a quiet groan coming from inside the office.

He instantly pushed the door open and saw Hal pushing Betty down on the desk.

Her dress was pulled up and her underwear was pulled down.

Jughead- What the fuck are you doing?!? Get off of her!

He ran over to Betty and pushed Hal out of the way.

Jughead held her behind him while Hal was pissed, trying to get her back into his possession.

Jughead- Why are you doing this to your daughter? She's an innocent girl, she doesn't deserve this?

Hal- See that's where you're wrong Mr. Jones. Elizabeth here is a slut and this is her punishment.

Jughead- You're insane!

Hal- No I'm not, I'm giving her what she deserves.

Jughead- NO ONE DESERVES WHAT YOU ARE DOING TO HER!

Hal- A girl her age that had a kid does.

Jughead- A kid?

He turned and looked at Betty who was crying behind him.

Jughead- You have a kid?

She nodded but refused to look into his eyes; she didn't want him to see her pain.

Jughead- It's okay, we're going home.

Hal- Not yet, I'm not finished.

Jughead- Yes you are, asshole, now get away from us before I do something we both regret.

Hal- Fine. (angerly)

He stepped to the side and Jughead pulled Betty out of the building.

He led her to the car and the both got in.

He took them home and the whole drive they didn't make a sound.

Jughead wanted to talk to her about the whole situation but he could tell she wasn't ready so he waited until they got home.
