You woke up alone, curled on the bed, the blankets wrapped tightly around you. You pushed them off you, cold air instantly hitting you as you sat up. You looked at your left hand and on your ring finger sat a ring that you haven't seen before. You looked at it, your head tilting to the side as you did so. The amethyst purple colour shining into your eyes. Just as you were about to get out of the bed, the door opened to reveal Jungkook holding two cups of coffee. You smiled at him, and he did the same, his nose cutely crinkling. He put the beverages down on the bedside table and took off his shoes, crawling into bed with you. He leaned over you, his chest lightly touching yours as his face came closer, a look of admiration on his face as he pressed his lips to yours. Your hands rested on his shoulders, pulling him closer towards you.

"Good morning." He beamed, brushing his nose against yours before pulling away.

"Morning Koo." You replied, rubbing your eyes and yawning. Lifting up your hand for him to see the ring, you softly smiled.

"What's this?" You asked, quickly realising that he knew the answer since the tops of his ears turned pink, his cheeks following in suit. He shyly rubbed the back of his neck and you couldn't help but feel your heart melt into a puddle at the cuteness overload.

"That's an engagement ring..." He went with stating the obvious, thinking that the answer would be enough. You chuckled, nodding.

"Yeah, but I don't remember wearing it." You said, watching as his face grew redder. Mumbling something you can't understand, you softly turn his head so that he's looking directly at you.

"I-I wanted to propose to you last night but I got shy and I just-" He said, throwing his hands up in the air.

"I'm sorry, I know this is not a way to be proposeed to bu-" He started to speak, getting cut off by your lips on his. You quickly pulled away, frantically nodding your head.

"I'm marrying you." You giggled. His eyes lit up as an excited smile made its way to his face. You ran your hands through his hair, just staring at him like he's a mirror – for all you could see is your happiness in front of you.

"Do we have access to a printer?" You asked, making Jungkook furrow his brows.

"Why would you need a printer?" He asked, hand calmly rubbing up and down your back. You shook your head, getting out of bed and slipping on your shoes, letting him get ready as you started your journey to the lift.

...

"Why are we meeting?" Mother asked, sitting down at the table with her lips pursed. You smirked, pulling out a file and placing it on the table.

"You're cancelling the wedding. You'll apologise to the press that were invited and we'll make a public statement." You remarked, eyes glinting mischievously. Her Majesty's eyes travelled down to the file and back up at you, cold black orbs close to sending you shivers with her lifeless stare.

"What makes you think I'll do that, dear daughter?" She retorted, inspecting the freshly made, red, acrylic nails on her wrinkling fingers.

"The file. I'll leak the photos to the press and cause a commotion. The wedding won't even be important anymore and when it's announced as cancelled, it won't be a big deal next to this scandal." You stated, leaning back into your chair as she defensively crossed her arms over her chest. She slowly unfolded her arms to open the file, her mouth opening in shock at the evidence of her cheating.

"Wrong move." You added coldly.

"This could ruin your reputation- refusing to marry a perfect man." Her Majesty said quietly, in an attempt to save herself from the mess she put herself in.

"Not as much as the queen cheating with her daughter's father-in-law." You said, getting up and walking towards the door. Stopping next to the door jamb you turned around to look at her over your shoulder.

"Why did you have to make me behave this way towards you? You too were in a similar situation. The only difference is that I have the guts to stand up for myself."

With that you left, the words left stinging in Her Majesty's mind.

...

"This is so lovely~" You gasped, entering the ballroom that was set up for the day you'll reveal everything. Jimin smiled, pulling out a flower from one of the centerpieces and handing it to you.

"I'm glad you think so." He chirped, leading you to where the others were. Hobi threw his arms around you, lifting you up and squishing you before letting your feet touch the ground again. You giggled, playfully hitting his arm.

The vaulted ceilings had such beautiful designs carved into them, a hint of gold adorning them. Tables were placed in rows, long cream-white tablecloths dripping down the edges of the tables and brushing against the floor. Pale pink roses and baby's breath stuck out from the centerpieces. Such elegance flowed through the room.

"Damn, tomorrow we'll stop all of this. We'll start a new life of our own." You said, looking at Jungkook. He grinned, reaching out to squeeze your hand. Yet your eyes drooped when you looked at the others – so happy for you. So happy even though they're doing so much, so happy even though you're leaving and they'll miss you more than anything. You glanced behind them to see a group of reporters, your heart beating faster as you grew nervous.

"I-I can't do that tomorrow. I won't be able to get out. I won't be able to say goodbye. I love you all so much and you'll always be a part of me. You'll always live in my heart and my mind." You told them, seeing how their eyes started watering. A moment of silence passed as you merely looked at each other.

"Come with us." Jungkook said.

"You don't need to, it's okay-" Yoongi protested, holding back tears.

"Y/N loves you more than the light of her eyes. I'd do anything to make her happy – and you guys are such a big part of her life. I can't take that away from her. Please...come with us." Jungkook told them. Taehyung awkwardly stood aside, not saying a word and staring at the floor.

"Taehyung, you're included." He added, smiling at Tae's confused expression.

"You- want me to go with you?" He smiled, his cheeks tinting. You nodded enthusiastically and the others immediately shoved him into the middle of a group hug. He groaned, sinking to the floor as Namjoon fell, dropping everyone else with him. Giggles erupted from the broken hug, wordlessly cementing the deal.
