I arrive back home, alone. I met two girls, Martha and Donna. They were brilliant. But Martha had to go back to her family and I sent Donna home for now. I park the TARDIS and Slowly get out. I see Rose running towards me and I open my arms. She jumps into them and kisses me. I kiss her back, setting her down. Rose presses me on the TARDIS and I moan softly. "Rose, stop." I moan gently. She obeys and smiles. I touch her big stomach.
She covers my hands with her own. "How long have I been gone?" I ask her. She bites her lip, tears brimming in her eyes. "Eight, almost nine months." She chokes out and starts to cry. "Oh, no, no. Don't cry, Rose. Please, don't cry." I beg her and I wipe her tears. They are quickly replaced. "Shhh... I'm here now..." I coo, rubbing her back. She clutches my shirt and sobs. "I missed you!" She sobs and I kiss the top of her head. "Oi! You think I didn't miss you?" I say, smiling softly. "Come on, your feet must hurt." I say, pulling her in the TARDIS. "Terribly." She answers with a small laugh.
I pull her in my room and we lay down together. "I love you." I tell her in Gallifreyan. She looks at me and smiles. "I love you, too." She says also in Gallifreyan. I'm confused. How did she know how to say that? "I studied your language when you were gone." She explains. I stroke her cheek and I kiss her softly. "Boy or girl?" I ask her, softly. She doesn't answer but tears fill her eyes. "Rose?" I sit up and I pull her in my lap. "What's wrong?" I ask, rocking her gently.
She nuzzles in me, clutching my shirt. She whispers something so low I couldn't understand her. "What?" I ask, tilting her chin up. I peck her lips and she whispers one word. "Twins." I smile softly and I kiss her temple. "Genders?" She sighs in relief. "Boy and Girl." I rub her back gently. "Please tell me you haven't been taking care of yourself." I beg and she stays silent. "Rose, tell me you weren't taking care of yourself when I was gone." Panic and hatred seep through my voice. Panic for what it can do to the twins, hatred for what I left her with. "I can't. Because I did take care of myself." She answers and I hold her close. "I feel terrible. Absolutely awful."
She kisses my jaw softly. "It's okay, Doctor. You were scared and worried. Besides your time goes quicker than mine." She says quietly. I press my lips to her temple, lightly. "I love you, Rose." I whisper. "I love you, too, Doctor." she whispers back.

Two days later...I wake up, Rose's head on my chest. Her arms are around me and she is peacefully asleep. I carefully pry myself from her grip and she stirs. I freeze at the door. She falls back asleep and I slip out quietly. I go make her breakfast. She's due tomorrow. I am excited and worried. The twins must have my genetics. What if they have two hearts? What if they can regenerate? What if- Rose comes in, yawning. "Hey, Rose." I say softly and I hug her. "Hey, Doctor."
She kisses me softly and I smile. She eats and I sit on the counter. "Tomorrow I am due." she says softly. "I'm aware." I reply and she looks at me. "You're anxious." She observes. "So?" I ask, harshly and she shakes her head. "Nothing, I'm just saying." she looks down, playing with her food. Oops, I was too harsh. I hop off the counter and I walk behind her. I wrap my arms around her and I lean down. "I'm sorry, Rose. I was too harsh." I whisper softly in her ear. "I'm so used to Cybermen and Daleks. Yelling and snapping at them. Then I brought that on you." She turned her head to me, forgiveness fills her brown eyes. I lean down so our lips brush against eachother.
I kiss her and she sighs. "I love you, Doctor." She says, pulling back. "As I love you, my Rose."
