"Thanks for coming with me to go shopping." Hina said to me. We were just going home from the mall. "Ya sure, no problem." I said to her.
"How'd you do in the finals?" She asked. "Finals? Man, that takes me back?" I smiled. "What? We just did our finals." She said.
-Shit. I said that out loud.-"Y-ya. That's what I mean." I managed to speak. "Study hard, okay? I'll help you." She told me.
*Timeskip To The Apartment*
That brings us to now. I was in her room, looking around. "Let's get started. Is something wrong?" She asked me.
"No, it's just that I have never been in a girl's room." I said. "Stop looking and let's get started." She scolded me. "Sorry." All of a sudden, she thanked me.
"Thank you Takemichi-kun for helping my brother." I was confused. "Huh?" I asked. "Thanks for saving him from those delinquents."
That was when it hit me. "Don't sweat it." I said. Just then fireworks then popped in the night sky. "Oh, fireworks! Let's watch them from the roof." I nodded.
"Wow, so pretty. Hurry up, Takemichi-kun." We were up on the roof top. I went beside her.
-I don't want to go back to the future because Hina is not in the future. I wonder if it's ok to hold her hand. I'll do it!-
I took the risk and grabbed her hand. -So warm but very small.- I looked down and saw Naoto. "Huh? Naoto?" I was confused. "H-hello." He said.
I then remembered what Naoto from the future said. -Shaking Naoto's hand is the trigger. SHIT!- "NAOTO! NO WAY!" I yelled.
*Present*
POV - HANAGAKI TAKEMICHI
"ARRRRRRRGH!" I jolted up. "Takemichi-kun! You came back to life." Naoto said. "I... Came back?" I asked.
"That means you could go to the past!? The handshake is the trigger, so I was right." He said but I didn't care.
"Yes... You were right." I was disappointed. "You shook my hand so that means you made progress, right?" He asked me. "Well... About that."
After he explained why he came back, I was furious. "You shook my hand by accident!?" I yelled at him. "Man, Hina was cute and the fireworks were pretty." -What the hell is he talking about?-
"Anyway, what I learned is that when you are in the past, your body goes into a death-like state." I told him. "Huh, so I was dead!?" He yelled.
"Your time-leaping takes you back 12 years back on the same day. For example, if you went to the past today, you'd be at today but 12 years back. If you stay in the past for a week then return, a week will pass too in the present. Leaving an empty vessel here." I explained to him.
"So I was in a death-like state." He exclaimed. "Yes, so we will be doing the time-leading from my room." I said.
"How's your mission to stop Sano and Kisaki from meeting?" I asked. "Listen Naoto, Mikey might be a delinquent but he's not a bad guy." I was angry.
"What do you mean?! You're saying the guy who killed my sister is a 'Good guy'! This 'Mikey' is holding a bunch of crimes in his hands and the police can't even stop him! If I were there, I'd kill him with my hands."
POV - HANAGAKI TAKEMICHI
I looked at Naoto. "Naoto, let's meet Mikey-kun." I said. "No way in hell I'm going to do that!" He yelled.
"I want to hear from Mikey-kun why Toman changed. I want to know before I go back. Please?" I pleaded.
"I don't know what happened in the past, but you changed." Naoto's words made me wonder. "Heh? Really, you mean I'm cool now? Stylish?" I asked.
"Let's find a way to meet 'Mikey'." -Wow, he ignored me.- "This will be difficult. Even the police can't find him." He said.
POV - TACHIBANA NAOTO
While looking around, I saw something that caught my eyes. -One of Toman's admin. Atsushi Sendou.- "Huh? Who's this?" Takemichi-kun asked over my shoulder.
"Toman's big shot, Atsushi Sendou." I said. "That's Akkun!" He yelled in surprise. "Your friend?" I questioned. "Yeah." He said. "Can you contact him?" I asked him.
"Ya I should have his number somewhere in my home." I nodded. "Since Atsushi Sendou is a Toman admin, we can reach Mikey through him." I said.
