Y/n was excited for Hogwarts, she could hardly wait to see the wonders of the magical school. James smiled at his little witch, he was happy that she was happy. He wished she didn't have to see the brawl between him and Lucius. Although he saw that their children seemed to take a liking to each other. James thoughts were gone when he heard his daughter talking to her new little friend.
"Your are so cute!" Y/n giggled as Ash purred against her.
James took her arm and began to do apparition to King's Cross Train Station. Y/n held on to her fathers arm as they traveled, it was not her first but it still made her a bit dizzy. Y/n let go of her father's arm when she knew they were on firm ground, and softly rubbed her forehead. Ash meowed and was hiding under Y/n's chin. James helped Y/n stand up right and made their way to the lobby and got her a cart to hold all her supplies for Hogwarts. Ash sat on top sitting and watching people look at James and Y/n strangely.
"Dad, where is Platform 9 3/4? I don't see it on the map?" said the young girl looking at the map of the train station.
James chuckled, and lead Y/n to a wall with little white rounded signs on each side with a single number. Between the number 10 and 9, Y/n stood with her cart lined up that looked like she would hit the middle of the wall. Y/n looked up at James, James went behind Y/n and held the handle with his daughter and looked to see if muggles were watching. They both started to run and Y/n closed her eyes and the two bodies went through the wall. Y/n opened her eyes to see a beautiful red and black train with a golden outline.
"Woo... it's amazing."
" I remember my first train ride too, and I felt the same, come on let's get you set and ready." James walked Y/n under the sign that beamed beautifully: Platform 9 3/4 Hogwarts Express
James said goodbye to his little girl and watches her wave goodbye. He watched the train leave the station. His Y/n was not a little girl anymore, She was now leaving on L/n legacy. Y/n walked through the narrow hallway of the express to find a compartment that she could sit it, holding Ash close. She found a compartment with two boys, one with short raven black hair, emerald eyes and glasses. The other with short red hair, freckles and light sky blue eyes. She softly knocked on the door making both boys jump a bit, turning their heads to see the girl. Y/n opened the door.
"I'm sorry..but every compartment is full, may I sit with you?"
"Sure go ahead." said the raven haired boy.
Y/n gave a smile and sat next to him.
"I'm Y/n L/n."
"I'm Ron, Ron Weasley." said the red haired boy smiling and eating candy.
"I'm Harry, Harry Potter." Y/n smiled at both boys and turned to Harry.
"Really? so you have... the scar?" Harry lifted his bangs to show the famous lighting shaped scar.
"Wow that's so cool!" Y/n smiled. Harry smiled back and saw Ash.
"Is that your cat?"
"hmm? oh yes this is Ash." Y/n said petting Ash, who was purring, opening his yellow eyes to see Harry, petting his head softly.
"Well not to be rude but try and keep him away from Scabbers." Y/n's head turned to Ron, with a confused look.
"Scabbers?"
"His pet rat." Harry said. Y/n was happy, she had already made two new friends. She didn't really care that they were boys, they seemed to like her just by her bright friendly smile.
Harry felt something new, and warm. Her smile, her hair, her eyes, her voice......it was breathtaking to him. What was wrong with him? He had just met this girl but yet he felt extremely happy with her. If only he knew that someone also has his eyes on Y/n besides himself, but he felt like he needed her by his side.
