Y/n was excited. She could hardly wait to get her supplies. Her father was taking her to Diagon Alley. There they were standing in the middle. Y/n's eyes lite up as she watched wizards and witches walking around. Owls and broomsticks flying. It was a dream come true for her.
"Y/n go pick out you're pet i'll get your books and oh don't forget your wand." Y/n's father said. She nodded and went to Ollivander's Wand shop.
She went to the front desk and saw an old man but he looked friendly and active for his age.
"Hello there young lady," He said with a warm welcoming voice. "What can I do for you?"
"I need a wand please it's my first year at Hogwarts." Y/n said smiling warmly back.
"Ah lets see!" said the man. Y/n wondered if he was Ollivander.
Ollivander walked over and gave Y/n a 10 inch wand made of hazel and dragon heartstring. Y/n held it and looked up at Ollivander confused.
"Well give it a flick!" Y/n did so that and nothing happened but a glowing light surrounded Y/n and wind was blowing in her face a bit.
Ollivander smiled at the young girl, he knew great things would come from her. Y/n turned to him, "what was that sir?" she said shocked.
Ollivander walked over to her.
"That was the wand choosing you, it now belongs to you, and you belong to it. Understand?" Y/n nodded.
"Now I do want you to know this Miss L/n. I will be listening for great things coming from you. Understand?" Y/n nodded once again.
"Thank you sir, I will make sure I do good!" Ollivander smiled and gave Y/n the wand for free, she was to nice and understanding for it to be priced. Y/n walked out with her new wand and went to find her father.
Draco was in Diagon Alley and his father had gone to buy his books. Draco went into Ollivander's wand shop before he saw Y/n. Draco went inside and looked around until he heard someone else come in. Draco hid behind a wand shelf and looked from the corner of it to see Y/n. Draco's heart was beating faster than normal. It had been 2 years since he saw Y/n and he was waiting so see her again. He watched as Y/n got her wand, he saw the glow around her making her look more like and angel. Her smile was bright and perfect, Draco couldn't help but let out a smile himself. Not a smirk or a sly smile, a true smile. A smile from Draco Malfoy is one of those once in a while. Draco watched as Y/n walked out, he wanted to follow her but had to get his wand. Draco went up to the front desk and saw Ollivander storing things in the back.
"Hello?" Draco said trying to see what was going on. Ollivander walked up to his desk carrying a couple boxes of wands.
"Ah... You must be a Malfoy" Draco nodded proudly.
Ollivander gave Draco a wand of cherry and phoenix feather. "Give it a flick Mr.Malfoy."
Draco did so and a lamp fell off a little table making the young boy and old man jump.
"I'm sorry but nope," Ollivander took that wand away and gave Draco a wand of Hawthorn wood and unicorn hair. Draco did a nice flick and a glowing light and wind blew upon him like he saw with Y/n.
Draco knew what it meant, he was happy. His very own wand, his and only his. Ollivander asked Draco to pay and Draco did so and went out with his new wand searching for Y/n.
