Going Home

Mono pulled Y/N into the backyard and past a small shed but it was like a huge building the to them. The hunter raced from the side of the house they came from. They passed an old outhouse and continued going. "Mono stop!" The hunter yelled. Y/N and Mono tripped up on leaves but kept running. "Hurry!" Mono yelled running down a small hill. He pulled Y/N down with him. "Stop mono!" The hunter yelled again. He aimed his shotgun ready to shoot. "No!" Mono yelled. He pulled Y/N down into a small and dark hole. The hunter turned on a lantern like flashlight with a circle light in a square and shined around. "Where did you go?" He said angrily. He shined his light in the hole and saw Y/N and Mono hiding quietly. "Mono." He said. "This human is dangerous." "Just give me them." He told Mono. "N-No!" Mono stuttered. Then he grabbed Y/N's hand and tried to run away the but the hunter grabbed him and then Y/N in his other hand. "Look Mono." The hunter said. "It's ok." "I'm not gonna hurt your friend. Y/N was terrified struggling not to faint. "Are you lost?" The hunter asked Y/N. Y/N just nodded. "I'm not from here." They said. "I was being chased by an angry dog and Mono brought me here." Y/N said. "Wait." The hunter said. "He saved you?" "Yes sir." Y/N said scared. "Wow." The hunter said. "My sons a hero." Mono seemed to be a bit more calm. "Let's get you home." The hunter said. He walked to his car and put the kids in. He seat belted them then started the car and they drove for a while. Y/N was still shocked and Mono just seemed happy to be alive and that Y/N was. "Don't worry." The hunter said. "You'll be home in no time." The hunter took Y/N and Mono to a tall building and took them inside. They met a tall thin man inside wearing a hat and he took them to a room with some kind of metal doorway and inside looked like a staticky doorway. "Step in to go home." The man said holding out his hand. Y/N shook his hand and static went up there arm. "You can come back anytime." He said. "Just please use it wisely." "It's very annoying when you don't. He said. "Ok thanks!" Y/N said happily. Then Mono came up to them looking a little down. He tried to smile. "I'm uh glad you're going home." Mono said. "Me too." Y/N said. "Well will you come back?" Mono asked Y/N. "Of course I will." Y/N said smiling. Then they went through the portal thinking about what they would do when they came back. And Y/N knew that would be soon.
