Rougefort x lilac

It was midnight, soft wind blowing across the sky. Earlier that day there was a letter left for Lilac, it was left by an anonymous.

"Meet me at at the strike of midnight tonight, I await your presence at the fountain by the cherry rose garden.
- love anonymous".
Lilac traces their eyes once more across the page. Yogurt cream had fallen asleep, so Lilac had took the opportunity to meet the anonymous person. Lilac was quite on edge, after all the person could be anyone, who knows what their intentions are.

After walking for a while, Lilac makes it to the fountain and sees a figure in the dark facing the opposite way. The person turns around at the noise of Lilac getting into a defense pose, Lilac had pulled out their weapons, getting ready to fight.

"There's no need for weapons, unless you're into that kind of thing."Said the dark figure smirking as they walked slowly into the moonlight.

"W-what."Said Lilac slightly blushing at the strange statement the other cookie had said. Lilac stood up from their fighting pose still gripping their weapons.

Lilac watched the figure walk into the moonlight, Lilacs eyes had widened, the anonymous was Rougefort!

"What do you want Rougefort."Said Lilac in a rather cold tone.

"Aww whats with the cold tone"Rougefort said with a pouty voice "don't worry I'm not here to steal from you, well maybe one thing.", Rougefort continued to smirk, finding their conversation quite amusing.

"And what would that be? Jewels? Riches? Treasures? If so I will not let you take anything."Lilac added still on edge, they didn't expect much from Roguefort, after all he is a criminal. Rougefort chuckled a little, you could tell he was enjoying himself. He thought the way Lilac responded to him was amusing.

"Your heart.", Said Rougefort smiling at Lilac. He extended his hand out towards Lilac. Lilac just stared at his hand in shock, their eyes were wide in surprise. Lilac couldn't believe what Rougefort was saying.

Rougefort giggled a bit "You seem in shock, but I assure what I'm saying is true. I've watched you from afar for quite some time now, studying your beauty.", Rougefort smiled and continued. "To be much clearer, I'm in love with you... Lilac."

Lilac's hands let go of their weapons, the weapons hit the ground with a thud. Lilac stood still in shock, their face was slowly heating up, blushing.

"You're being serious?" Lilac questioned, looking at Rougefort straight into his eyes. Lilac could feel their heart beat speed up, Lilac felt a strange feeling, unsure of what it was.

Rougefort chuckled and just walked slowly towards Lilac, smiling. He found it funny that after all he said Lilac still didn't believe him, but seeing Lilac's face red, it was more precious than any other jewel he's seen, it was beautiful.

The soft moonlight shined down onto them, the soft wind slowly swaying the cherry roses, It was a beautiful scenery. Rougefort stood infront of Lilac pulling something out of his coat. Lilac didn't move at all just stood there and watched Rougeforts every move.

Rougefort had pulled out a single white rose. He held it out to Lilac.

"Here, please accept this rose as a gift of my love." Rougefort said softly, looking Lilac straight in the eyes, smiling.

Lilac looked down at the rose, still blushing, and slowly reached their hand out to grab it. Lilac held the rose close, gazing at it softly.

Rougefort closed the gap between him and Lilac. He put his right hand on Lilac's cheek softly. Lilac quietly gasped at the contact, Lilacs stomach was filled with butterflies, it felt like they were going to burst.

Rougefort slowly leaned into Lilacs ear and whispered "Until next time my love...". He pecked Lilacs ear sweetly and let go of their cheek. Rougefort backed away to look at Lilac's blushing face once more then quickly took off with the wind.

Lilac stood there in awe, face still burning from what had just happened. Lilac looked down at the rose and smiled. It was rather late so he decided to head back to Yougurt cream.

On Lilacs walk back, they couldn't stop rethinking about the whole moment. Still having butterflies in their stomach, smiling softly at the rose, Lilac thought to themselves "I wouldn't mind him sending me another letter soon..."
