I've been Licorice's assistant for some time now, and lately I've noticed some...strange behavior coming from him. Like calling me for assistance when nothing is needed, then he just gets upset with me because I stand there waiting for instructions.
He 's getting weirder and weirder as the days pass by...
"Yn can you hurry up and get ready for the dumb expedition already?" Licorice's whines echo through the hall as he makes his way to Yn's room.

"oh. sorry I didn't know you needed me to come with you master." You look at him puzzled. when you first started working for him you would ask if he wanted assistance on his expeditions. But every time you asked he throw a hissy fit saying he was strong enough and didn't need a weakling such as your self to help him. Shortly you learned not to even ask because your afraid of deeply offending Licorice.

"I-i don't need you to help me! I just thought you'd be honored to see a true enchanter of darkness at work!" He pouts as he looks away hiding the small tint of pink on his cheek.

He may be childish but he certainly is cute.

"All right as you wish master. I'll get ready right away." you say smiling you couldn't help it when he would act so cute.

"hmp. You better. who knows what you would do without me." He smirks pridefully at you, never failing to show off his big ego.

"UGHHHH! Yn I'm so bored..." Licorice groans as we walk through the forest.

"Remember master this is an expedition for the dark enchantress. We must finish this task as soon as possible, you do not wish to displease her do you?" I say in a lecturing manner. This boy never learns does he?...You sigh as you think to yourself.

"...no I don't. But gosh this is so boring." Licorice groans out of frustration. Suddenly tension rises in your body, you feel strange, you can feel the presence of people coming closer.

"Master I think someo-" you say quickly before getting cut off by gingerbrave.

"Hey look It's Licorice cookie!" Gingerbrave points the two of you out to the rest of the cookies with him.

"Oh crap." Licorice breathes out. You immediately get ready to battle until your legs are swiftly lifted of the ground. You look to see who dares touch you and it wasLicorice. He was carrying you bridal style.

"Licorice? What are you doing?" You asked confused not understanding what he was doing. He starts running away and calls his minions for back up.

"I didn't think we'd run into them today, I'm not prepared for this battle just yet I'll let the minions take care of it. Don't worry about it!" He's says a little grumpy due to your unexpected company.

"But Um Licorice you know I could've ran on my own if you just told me to..." You say a little embarrassed being carried by your master.

"UH WELL UM YK I KNOW UM... AH YES YOUR FAR MUCH WEAKER THAN ME I JUST THOUGHT YOU WOULD SLOW ME DOWN THAT'S ALL. DONT GET SO WORKED UP ABOUT IT." He says as he puffs out his chest in annoyance to your question he was blushing you could tell he made up that excuse just now.

"Oh no I didn't mean it that way! I'm sorry if I offended you master." You say giggling a little due to his silly behavior. He just sighs as he puts you down. You already arrived at Licorice's lair. Huh that was pretty quick.

"Thank you for helping me Licorice." You flash a smile at him not realizing what you said out loud.

"Huh? HUHHHH?" Licorice yelps out in confusion flustered at you calling him by his name. You look at him strangely wondering what he was so flustered about. Oh... OHHHHH.

"OH LICORICE- I MEAN MASTER IM SORRY I DIDN'T MEAN TO USE YOUR NAME IT JUST CAME OUT I SWEAR I-" You scramble our gibberish in hopes of calming him down.

"ITS FINE." He yells at you glancing to the side.

"NO PLEASE IM SORR- huh wait what?" You stop apologizing realizing what he came out of his mouth.

"I said it was fine. I don't mind if you call me Licorice..." he says covering his mouth trying hard not to smile. You look at him flustered not even processing what happened. Does... does licorice like me? LIKE, LIKE LIKE ME??? Your face completely broke out red thinking about the slight chance he might feel that way.

"Licorice..." You call out his name, your heart is pounding in your chest.

"W-what?" He says afraid not knowing what the next words that would come out of your mouth.

"Licorice. Do...do you..? You bite your lip almost as if you try to keep the words inside. The silence fills the air as you hold your tongue back wondering what's the right thing to say. You sigh, deciding to just let your mouth take over.

"Do you like me?" You say looking him straight in the eyes. His face lights up with red he's practically glowing. He looks off to the side biting his bottom lip not sure what to say. He faces the ground looking at his feet.
"Of course I do..." you hear him mumble quietly as he hides his face from your eyes not wanting you to see him. You just giggle in return smiling to your self so glad to have this idiot by your side.
