It is Friday night and I am walking to New York's streets by my own after having a great time in a bar with a stranger drunk man. Suddenly tow weird guys came from behind me , holding knifes but they thought that I didn't noticed them
"So .....How can I help you gentlemen?" I said in a clearly sarcastic way while I still had my back turned to them. They were kinda shocked by after some seconds they found their words
"Give us your money and we will leave without hurting you"
"Wait a minute. I think you misunderstood the situation. I am the threat here, not you 2 pathetic men with kitchen knifes"
"Just give us your money little girl and don't play it a hero"
"Who did you call little girl you idiot? And I am not playing the hero ....I am the villain"
And that's it. I didn't want any other reason to kick their asses out . In only few moves I disarm both of them and they started to run like chickens
After that I heard someone's footsteps behind me and I was already in the mood to fight again.
"Do you want to join them? I have no problem to repeat what you just saw"
"The opposite. I saw your moves before and I can tell that you are pretty good at fighting"
"Thanks. Can you now come out from the shadows to see who I am talking to"
He came out and I was surprised. I could recognize this face everywhere. Nick Fury ladies and gentlemen.
"Nick Fury .....What a surprise . Nice to meet you I guess?"
"It is up to you if it is nice or bad to meet me"
"Excuse me? And how is that?"
"Well....I see something special to you and I want you on my team"
"On your team??? The avengers???"
"Yeah .Is there any problem?"
"That's probably the dream of every human in that planet but not for me. Being a hero is not really my type"
"I don't think I can accept a disagreement so easily"
"Then you have to live the rest of your life with this disappointment because I am not going to be an avenger"
"You know that while we are talking my system has already found all of your papers and I know everything about you. I will change your mind sooner or later"
"Good luck with that"
I said and I turned to the opposite way. There is no case that I will be a member of the avengers. Being a member of team means that you have to follow the rules and I am a rule breaker. I can't fit with them.
The next morning came and as always I have nothing to eat. For the past few months I am leaving in a small house that one of my friends gave me for free but he wants to sell it soon so I have to find somewhere else to stay. I work in a cafeteria as a waitress but the money isn't enough.
So this morning the only way to find something to eat is by stealing. I came into a mini market being complete unsuspected and I put a bottle of milk and a loaf of bread in my bag. I took my way to cash desk and I paid only for a gum.
Unfortunately, while I was getting out of the store my bag broke and all my stuff, including the milk and the bread, fall to the ground. The owner of the store looked me in the eyes for a moment and I knew that I fucked up . I started to run as fast as I could and when I looked behind me I saw 5 very muscle man to follow me .
WHAT THE HELL!!!
Did I stole from the mafia or something? I know that I can defend myself from 2 idiots with knifes but I don't think that I have any chance of surviving in that situation. I turned to my left in small road but it was a deadlock. I was starting to panic and I knew that this was probably my end until something an expecting happened. Bucky Barnes ...the well known ''winter solder'' came up from nowhere and kicked the off. What was that?? Why did he defend me?
When he ended up with them he came up to me and scanned me
"You are Y/N Y/L/N?"
"Ye-yes"
"There is no thank you for saving your life?"
"Yeah ....sure. Thank you"
"Great. Now come with me"
"I don't want to offend you but where are we going exactly?"
"To the avengers' tower"
"Sorry but I am not coming with you there"
"Excuse me ,WHAT?"
"You listened me. I am not going anywhere"
"Wait wait wait. I think I didn't make myself clear. I saved your life and you own me now. Also by next week you will not have home ,you are living by stealing and Fury sent me to find you. So I am not going back with empty hands"
"I know all this stuff but I am not really a team person"
"I don't care. You will at least come with me and you will discuss the rest of these with Fury"
"Ok ok. I am coming"
