Confession Time

Zee POV

Kara just got a call from her dad telling her to come home, but I didn't want her to leave me.

"Well I guess I gotta go..." Kara says as she stands up, but I hold her hand.

"Kara wait..." I say as I stand up with her

"...I've been meaning to tell you this..." I say as I look into her blue eyes

"...I..." I lean closer and I start blushing and sigh

"Kara Danvers...I... Love you" I say leaning in closer to her face and wrapping my arms around her neck

Kara POV

Zee confessed to me and is very close to my face with her arms wrapped around my neck, pulling me closer to her face until our lips touch, and we kiss. I am too shocked to move, so I just stand there unable to say or do anything. I finally realized what was going on and I wrapped my arms around her waist, and kissed back. None of us wanting to pull away yet, but Zee starts to pull away so I do the same.

"Sorry about that..." Zee says softly while catching her breath

"I-it's fine" I say

It was akward silence for a while until both of our phones started to ring. We pulled away from each other to check the messages, they were both from our school, so we picked up the phones and it was the principal saying that school was canceled this week due to multiple pipes exploding. We hung up and at this point it was dark.

"Soooo, does this mean you want to be my girlfriend?" I ask Zee and I see that her face is glowing red

"Uhm yes... that is if you want to" Zee asks quietly

"Yeah,I do but don't we need to go on a date or something?" I ask

"Yeah I guess" Zee says

"Well we can go tomorrow if you want" I say

"That would be great!" Zee says in a cute way

"Great, we can go to wherever you want tomorrow" I offer

"Okay" Zee says

We go back to sitting on a tree trunk that fell over, and we enjoy each other's company, Zee sat next to me and when I felt her grip on my hand loosen and her head leaned on my shoulder, I noticed she had fallen asleep. So I picked her up and carried her back to her home.
