"throw that Ky!" my friend yelled at me, while I was sit in the grass staring at a little panda figure I found there.
"No!" I just responded him, while I proceed to put that in my pocket.
"Come on, we have to go to lunch, the teachers are going to scold us" he said, while walking to me and take my hand.
"yes, and I wanna hear again Luka's big brother stories!" I smiled and followed him to the canteen.

"Then he went in the water to save her! He's a hero and everybody congratuled to him" Luka said proudly.
"You have such a cool brother" someone at the table said.
"I want to meet him!" one of my friend exclaimed.
A lot of people were sitting at Luka's table, his brother's story were famous in the school but only the 5th graders had the honor to listen to them. Just because Luka was in 5th grade too and he wanted easy friends.

When launch finished I headed to math class. I hated math but I often passed that hour thinking about stuff and drawing pandas in the corner of the books.
What if I had a big brother too?
He would be way cooler than Luka's one.
He would for sure skate and he would  teach me how to go on it, since I always sucked at riding them.
He wouldn't laugh at me because I like pandas, he'd take me to the zoo to see them, indeed.
Finally I would have a real best friend and not a bunch of fake friends that don't really care.
He would be tall, but not too much, because he have to bring me on his shoulders, and I'm afraid of heights.
He should have a beard, because then he'll teach me how to deal with mine and how to shave, since dad can't.

"Kyle!" my teacher called me, of course I wasn't paying attention.
"Could you please answer to 167 - 54?" As I said before, I sucked at math. I raised up my fingers and started count on them. I'm dumb that's probably basic math.
"So? What's the answer?" she insisted.
I didn't have enough time to calculate that, so I tried saying a random number "107" I didn't even have the time to watch my Teacher's reaction that all the class was laughing at me, but they weren't openly laughing, they were whispering at others and laughing softly to don't get caught.
"No." the teacher said. She didn't even watch me and started right away writing something on the blackboard.

I felt embarrassed of myself, my big brother would've helped me and defend me.
One teard dropped from my eyes, the only one who had a chance before my sleeve covered my eyes.
The math class was already boring, so I took my pencil and started drawing pandas on the corner of my math notebook.
I wrote "Pandas" in the very corner and ripped the inscription. This evening I was going to visit my dad's grave and I wanted to give him the little note, just as I was used to do.

The bell's ring woke me up from thinking about my big brother, so I took my school bag and went outside of the school, my mother was already here waiting for me, with some flowers in one hand as she used the other hand to wave at me.
I followed her in the car and she drove until the cemetery. I still had my note saying "Pandas" in my pocket, waiting to gave it to my dad.

"Mom?" I called her.
"Yes?"
"Does dad listen to our thoughts?"
"Yes of course, now he's an angel and he knows everything we do and think" she smiled, while I watched tears grow in the corner of her eyes.

"Do you want to go first?" my mom asked me, while we were walking thru the cemetery path to dad's grave.
"Yes, I have something important to tell him"
"Oh wow, then you can talk to him first"
I smiled at her and sit on my knees, in front of dad's black-and-white pic on the grave.
"Hi dad, I have something to tell you. Today I thought about what it would be to have a big brother. It would be so cool, for sure he would love me as much as you did.
6 months have passed from your death, and I miss you. I started thinking about stuff like: who will teach me to shave my beard? Because of course I'll have one, because you did. And here comes my big bro! He'll also take me to the zoo, to watch pandas, since now, everytime I talk about them people laugh at me.
Yes, that would be so crazy, right? Don't be jealous though, you will always be my dad and my favorite person in the whole world!
I still haven't thought about his name, but for now I have to give you the note. " I interrupped my speech to him to take the note. "Oh wait, it's upside down... Wait. S-a-p-n-a-p.
Sapnap? Sapnap! Dad! if you read pandas upside down you can read sapnap, that sound like a name, don't you think? What if I call him sapnap? it's a cool name and has something about pandas in it"
I layed the note on his grave, as I started aggressively sobbing. Tears started coming down from my eyes, nothing to stop them now.
"Dad, I miss you so much" I said between a tear and a sob "If there's someone, that's ready to be my Sapnap, please tell him that I'm waiting for him"
I continued crying, as I took my panda figure from the other pocket
"I need you more now than always, please, come back. Please send me sapnap, please help me."
I got up and got back to the car, while my mother started going to talk to my dad.
I watched outside the window, as the sky became gray and little drops started falling.
Sapnap, my imaginary friend.
