We finally made it to central event street downtown. Aidyn and I walked to the entry booth to buy year round ticket passes for the event plaza.

We finally decided where we wanted to go first and we chose Ball-Zone. We took our shoes off at our cubbies and put on our non-slip socks and got on the mats. We chose to be on separate teams and I'm very competitive so Aidyn prepared himself.

"I need to stretch before this game starts, I know you coming at my head"

"I'm glad you know, it's not like you had planned on taking it easy on me"

"You're probably right" he said with a slight grin.

The game started and we went head to head running for the same blue ball. I got to the ball first and Aidyn took off to the farthest corner. I faked a throw at him and hit the girl standing next to him. Right as I threw the ball another came right at my waist. I caught the ball and the boy was out.

Aidyn had a ball by then so we were going head and head again. The mats cleared and we were the last 2 standing so Aidyn and I squared off. I dropped my ball running to the corner so I squated down to get it off of the mat and when I lifted my head a red ball hit me straight in the face.

The game was over so we left Ball-Zone and went to 2 other places. By that time it was already 5:32 pm and we were both hungry so we decided to get seafood. We drove 45 minutes to juicy crab and surprisingly it wasn't packed.

The hostess took us to our table and we ordered our food. Aidyn wouldn't stop glancing at me so I was sure he had something he wanted to say.

"What's on your mind?"

You, we've known one another for 5 months now and it seems like it's been forever.

I smiled. You're right, I honestly couldn't imagine this school year without you.

He put his head down at attempt to hide his koolaid smile but it was too late.

The waiter brought our food out and we said our grace and started to dig in.

Aidyn went straight for the crab legs but I had to get my favorite which was the corn. After taking a few bites Aidyn started dying of laughter and I was pretty sure he was laughing at me since we were sitting away from everyone else in the restaurant.

"What's so funny?" I asked.

I'm thinking about how you used to be so scared to eat in front of me but now, you giving that corn the business.

"Damn, you on me?"

Nah man you good, eat yo food.

We ate and talked for a while by that time it was 8:17 and we finished our food, Aidyn paid the ticket and we left.

After a long car ride we finally made it to Aidyn's house. He reached over and hugged me before getting out of the car.

"Goodnight Aidyn"

Goodnight Myracle. Text me when you get home

It was pitch black outside so I drove home in silence so I could focus. I finally made it in and took a long hot shower, cozied up, and watched All American until I fell asleep.
