Saints and Criminals (A Ruv x Sarv story)

Chapter 4

                                Sarv POV:

I was completely embarrassed after saying that to him, I still can't get it out of my head. "You ok Sarv?" Ruv asked, "Uh, yeah I'm fine." I said trying not to sound embarrassed, "Ok, just making sure." Ruv said.

Then I had a good idea, "Hey Ruv, I have something to tell you." I said to him, "Sure, what's up?" Ruv asked. "I will be promoting you, from this day forward you and I will be partners, if your willing to accept of course." I said to Ruv, he then grabbed my hand which made me blush a little "I accept it Sarv." Ruv said confidently, we then shook our hands a little.

Then we let go of each other's hands. And then my phone began to ring, I picked it up to see who it was "Hello?" I said, "Hey, me and your uncle are hungry, can you grab us something?" My mom said on the phone, she's always been pretty bossy when it comes to me.

"You sure you can't make something yourself?" I asked trying not to sound nervous, "Your too busy to make us a fucking sandwhich!?" My mom screamed through the phone, "Ok ok, calm down, I'm coming." I said to her, she then hung up on me which was kinda rude to be honest.

"I gotta go, so see you later Ruv!" I said in a hurry, "Uh ok, see you later.." Ruv said a little concerned. I made two sandwiches really fast for my mom and uncle, and then put them in a bag, and I ran out the door really fast. I forgotten to close the door behind me, but Ruv closed it for me which was really nice of him to be honest.

15 minutes later I finally arrived to my mom's house, I gotten inside and it was as filthy as always, and the smell of beer filled the room.

"Your late, again." My mom said to me with an angry look on her face, "I'm really sorry, I'll try to be more on time next time, I promise-" I gotten cut off by my uncle grabbing my arms tightly and putting them behind my back.

"Hey, let me go!" I yelled to my uncle in fear, "We'll make sure this doesn't happen again!" My mom yelled at me. Then my mom launched at me fist first and punched me right in the eye.

"And don't you dare cry to anyone about this!" My mom yelled with her left eye twitching like crazy. My uncle then took one of my arms and he had a knife, he then swung the knife at my arm making it bleed a little from the cut my uncle made on my arm.

Then both my mom and my uncle snatched the sandwiches and threw me out the door and slammed it behind me. I then noticed the punch in the eye my mom did caused a black eye, and I didn't want Ruv to find out about it because I gotten scared that if he did my mom would kill me or something.

I then found a bandage and a pair of sunglasses and put the bandage on my bleeding arm and put the sunglasses over my eyes and hoped that Ruv won't notice anything about what happened just now.

Later I was back at the church, I put on a poker face and went inside the church. I was still nervous about earlier so I didn't say anything to Ruv who turned out to be reading a book on the couch.
