Saints and Criminals (A Ruv x Sarv story)

Chapter 14

                                Sarv POV:

I couldn't believe that Ruv was gonna go to prison, more importantly, I couldn't believe that Ruv was a runaway fugitive! As fear started to run through my veins, I started to feel tears dripping down my face as I stared into Ruv's eyes not knowing what to do or say. So I just stood there in fear over the fact that he was a fugitive and that he was about to die.

"Don't cry now, Sarvente. The police are already on their way right now, so I'd suggest you stop crying while he still has his final minutes to live." My mother Sidero said, softening her voice finally while grinning menacingly at me. Regardless of how cruel this situation seemed, I knew that it couldn't just end like this, it just couldn't. Not when me and Ruv finally just started a new chapter in our lives together. I tried to wipe away my tears but no matter how many times I tried, I couldn't help but feel more tears fall down my face as I break down crying.

Ruv tried to move his hand towards me to comfort me, but before he could reach me, my mom tased Ruv once again, making him wince in pain as he lowered his arm. Despite how upset I was by the fact Ruv kept such deep secrets from me that risked both of our lives, I couldn't help but reach over and hold his hand tightly as I continue to cry. After a few seconds I feel him weakly squeeze my hand back as he holds my hand.

"Sarv, I am so sorry... I am so sorry you had to find out like this... I wanted to tell you eventually, but I was scared you'd leave me if I did..." Ruv weakly whispered to me, his voice low and shaky from the pain caused by my mom tasing him. "Ruv... I really wish things were different for us... So we could've been together without anything happening to either of us..." I whisper back to him, my voice choking with tears as I continue to hold onto his hand.

"It doesn't have to be this way, Sarv... We can find a way to make this work... We can find a way to be happy together... I promise you..." Ruv whispered as he gently rubbed his thumb against my hand to try to soothe me. From his touch I slowly started to relax, almost forgetting about the situation at hand until I hear police sirens in the distance.

"Ah, here they come now." My mom said cruelly as she softly chuckles to herself. At this point both me and Ruv knew the police were coming for both of us, and with Ruv's weak state there's rarely anything we could do, especially since we don't have anything to protect ourselves with. So I sat by Ruv's side, accepting my fate as I continued to hold my hand, waiting for the police to take us both. If this was how we died, at least we died together.

Sorry I haven't been active at all in a long time, I deleted Wattpad last year due to storage space problems and lack of motivation. But I remembered about this story and decided to keep it going.
