Saints and Criminals (A Ruv x Sarv story)

Chapter 7

                                Ruv POV:

I was cleaning the church for Sarv while she was asleep, I just thought she would like it if I did that.

I then finished cleaning since I cleaned pretty fast, the place looked absolutely spotless. I then saw Sarv come out of her bedroom since I did place her in her bed while she was asleep.

She then took a moment to look at how much cleaner the church was, and then looked at me.

"Ruv, you did this while I was asleep?" Sarv said to me looking amazed, "Yeah, I thought you would like it if I did this for you as a surprise." I said to her calmly.

She then hugged me, I hugged back, "Thanks so much Ruv." Sarv said in a pleased tone of voice, "No problem Sarv." I said to her feeling good inside that I made her happy.

We then let go of each other, then I remembered that I don't know what love is, so I decided to ask Sarv about it since she knows about more ways of showing affection than me.

"Hey Sarv, can I ask you something?" I questioned, "Sure, you can ask me anything." Sarv said with a smile.

"Can you tell me what love is?" I asked her, I then noticed her face gone a bit red, "Uh, I can help you, but which kind of live are you talking about, because there's more than one y'know." Sarv said a bit nervously. "I'm talking about the kind of love that takes place between two parents, but before they have the child." I said to her kinda worried she'll get embarrassed or something.

"Ok uh, love is kinda complicated, it takes place between two people who really like each other, and I mean really like." Sarv said, I was interested hearing this from her.

"Like as if one of them dies, the other one could die as well, it's a very strong feeling Ruv." Sarv said going deep into the descriptih9on of love.

"When your near that person, you feel complete, safe, and warm all over, a happy feeling that enters your stomach whenever you think of them." Sarv said in a soft tone of voice.

I started to remember that I felt like that before near Sarv while the last part Sarv said about love echoed in my head. I realized I fell in love with Sarv at that time. But I don't really know if she loves me back or not so I don't think I should confess to her yet.

"I think I'm in love Sarv." I said to her with my face heating up a little, "That's great, who's the lucky girl?" Sarv asked me happy for me. "It doesn't matter, they probably don't like me the same way." I said to Sarv kinda upset inside I didn't say I was in love with her.

Even if she was in love with me, it would be crazy because who would ever love a criminal like me? But criminal or not, I want to be able to protect her and help her whenever I possibly can. To be the best man possible for her despite the fact that I'm a criminal.
