Shibi Itara is 20 years old. He has blue hair and sapphire eyes. This all is a result of a rare genetic mutation that started fifty years ago, during the Fourth Great War when the opposing nations brought local flora and fauna of other planets from other star systems of the Milky Way galaxy back to earth which started growing five times faster on earth than any other flora available here. Anyone and everyone who ate the food made from those plants got this genetic mutation. This mutation gave them exceptionally wild Hesh powers. All who ate it and went to the wars became famous by the name 'Firebrand'; a name that means killer.
Hesh, the course to turn one's will power into his/her weapon by amplifying it. In earlier times, only soldiers were allowed to perform Hesh; their body and mind had to go through a lot of training just to get ready for the surgery for the Hesh implants, without those implants they couldn't possibly use Hesh abilities except the Firebrands, they were naturals. After getting those implants, those soldiers were supposed to undergo a acrid and craggy training so that they could get an edge over their enemy. This also led to an un-intentional impact on the human physiology. They began to evolve into natural Hesh soldiers. They became so popular that a complete different squad was assigned for Hesh commandos.
Shibi himself was sitting in his room, which was practically as empty as a black hole. He smiled as he looked up at the ceiling which was painted with a neon paint sapphire. He was wearing his PJ's; an old blue pair of pants and a dark T-shirt. He looked outside as the walls began to become transparent so that he could see the world outside. The boy then started talking to himself like he did every single night trying to write a perfect script for his games. "Hey everyone! This...this is my story. The story of my own existence. I live in the thirtieth century and luckily I am still on earth." Shibi sighed as he spoke. His eye twitched as he gazed into the city. "You see that outside?" There was no one in the room but he spoke anyway. "This place is so empty, so cold...." Outside there were a lot of sky-cars moving around, there were working on their holocoms. And then the realization hit him that he had forgotten something. "And by the way, did I introduce myself to you guys yet? Well you see I am no genius, nor am I exceptionally strong, truth be told I am one of the dumbest people of the inhabitants here. Everyone here seems to know a lot more than me." He practically started growling "How the heck did I end up here anyway," he yelled in anger, then falling silent, grabbing up a game controller and slamming away at the buttons, eyes fixated on the screen.
A small explosion occurs blinding him, his eyes and ears get disorientated due to that explosion. "What was that? "He sighs as he puts the controller down and goes off to grab a water bottle. After an hour of playing a few games, he shut off his console and put the controller away. The following thoughts preceded his sleep.
Holocoms are the neural implants which are projected in front of the user whenever they wish to work. There is no concept of hard-drives anymore. All the data is stored in the form of a memory. Humans have reached their apex of evolution and now they are the masters of their minds. They can use their brainpower to a full hundred percent.
13 July, 3115
The world has completely changed. It is now ruled under one nation, one alliance known only as the 'consensuses'. This consensuses was formed after a war which raged through the whole galaxy. This made the position of humans in the galaxy somewhat fragile.
Coming back to Shibi... This was a big day for him. Probably the biggest day of his life. Today he was signing up for the SS program for the Hesh division of the students. He's interested in the tech squad too, but he'd conclude some time before that tech wasn't his strong suit. He went outside, noticing the world which was almost overwhelming with life and energy! People rushing through to get to their workplaces, kids playing around, up ahead there could be seen sky cars flying past. On the right of the walkway, there was a door to get to the elevator, on the left there was another door which led to the other section of the building. Shibi started walking through the hallway he was standing in and entered the elevator. He was just entering the elevator, and as he looked up, just before he could react, someone barged into him, causing him to fall. As he looked down the oblivion he was almost going to faint--but then he heard the scream of the offender, a female, her voice undeniably familiar.
