Shibi woke up after a really long time and surprisingly his headache was all gone, though his vison was still hazy and those could be the aftereffects of the medicine he was given to get him out of the fever that may have caused him due to a really long exposure of the simulation. The other reason he was medicine was to nullify the effects of the serum in his body which were given injected in his body when he was still inside the simulation by Liara. He looks around and he could see that there were a few guards standing there. He could recognize one of them but not the others. He would wait for a few moments and then try to sit up. As he sits up he could see that some people were taking orders from someone and after taking orders all of them went outside of the room. His vison was still hazy so he couldn’t see their faces at the moment but he could see Lieutenant Hues entering the room and the other man who he called Admiral. He looks around a little, and he could see that he was in a ship and before he could say anything he watches them coming over here.
Hues looks at Shibi, there’s some pity in his eyes but he isn’t too fond of Sapphires. The man who was called Admiral a few seconds ago speaks up first. “Oh my my, looks like someone took quite a beating here. “He says so and there’s his mocking politeness in his tone as he says. His eyelids were barely open and there was his grin, one that would suggest a cold feeling instead of a warm one. As a matter of fact, anyone that has come close to him or talked to him would describe the feeling as if they were being strangled by snakes. “Don’t scare him like that Ten. This kid has taken a bullet for us, for the Crimsons “Says Lieutenant Hues as his arm goes up to Ten’s shoulder. Hues was wearing Crimson’s navy uniform while Ten was wearing a black kimono and a sleeveless white coat on top of it. He was one of the most skilled soldier in the whole Crimson society and rumors were that he could take down a whole squad of the Royal Guards of the Consensus. He wasn’t a hesh user or a tech user though and that was a surprise. As a matter of fact, then used a sword, one that he would infuse with plasma energy which was fueled by the implants in his body. He was one hell of a soldier.
Shibi looks at them confused about what is going on and why they were here. He was wearing some loose clothes and some really comfortable one. He felt as if he was a patient here and on the right hand side, there was a table where he could see some vials containing blood and some other liquids which were probably taken from his body. “Soo, where am I? And what is going on here? “He asks politely. “You are in a military battle ship Shibi, and you are here because we need you. We need your help in taking down this Citadel built by our enemies. Can you do that?” says Lieutenant Hues as he watches the Admiral go out of the room after receiving a transmission from Brigadier General Mackenzie herself. She doesn’t trusts Texas and so she needs someone by her side who she can trust. Shibi takes his time to think and answer the question. “Yeah… I think I can. Besides, I might just be able to find all the answers in there that I am seeking for a long time. “He says with a determined voice and that puts up a smile on Hues’ face. “Alright, that’s what I like to hear soldier. C’mon then, take the medicine and meet me outside as soon as you are ready, but try and make it quick.” Lieutenant explains him everything and tells him what medicines he has to take to take before getting out and shows him his uniform and then he waits for him outside his room while carrying an assault rifle, a sniper and a side arm for him.
Shibi then walks out of the room wearing the uniform he took from the locker that was in the room in which he was staying in. He was still trying to wrap his head around all this, he remembers everything that Liara told him about the Consensus and the treaty and the day on which Fate was assassinated by the Legendary guards, but he still doesn’t understands why the people of the Crimson Society were protecting the plants that were indoctrinating people, or at least that was something he heard in the simulation but was it the truth? He comes out of the room and finds Admiral Ten holding some gear for him. “I can’t use that. I am not a soldier… I am just a programmer and I am not even good at it. “He would look at the sly grin that Ten had on his face. “Is that so? Well, that’s too bad for you son. Because I have just decided to make you one. “ he then proceeds to give him the weapons and then starts walking as he takes out a leaf of the plant that was supposed to indoctrinate people, or that is something that Shibi thought of, he then ate some part of that plant while Shibi looked at him in confusion and amazement. “My apologies, would you like some of it. “Says Ten as he looks at Shibi’s face that he made while looking at Ten. “Nope, I am good. I would very much like to keep myself intact sir. “He would say so fearing that the so called admiral might be trying to indoctrinate him. “Why not? It is a natural anti-oxidant and anti-biotic, as a matter of fact it is a multi-purpose plant and the only one that can keep you head intact in case the Consensus goes on for biological or chemical warfare. Just the way they did back in the third great war. “He would say so with a small poker face as they would proceed but then there comes an announcement “Admiral Ten and Shibi Itara to the portal room, I repeat Ten and Shibi to the portal room” a voice comes from the speaker summoning both of them inside the Citadel’s main wards, the place where Texas, Mackenzie and a handful of sapphires were standing.
