Mars…

The battlefield is covered with corpses of men and women committed to their cause, the air is brimming with bullets. The atmosphere itself has turned dark. The sound of artillery fire and carpet bombing is deafening and the remaining soldiers who are still fighting for this far distant planet of san haloes are having a blood bath under the firing they are receiving. A small unit of recon soldiers have slipped past the enemy lines, they are preparing to plant some explosives. They are one of the ‘luckiest’ unit in the whole Consensus army, and at the present moment they are fighting against the alliance collective navy, the largest rebel navy which currently rules the world. The leader of Alliance is Councillor Donnel Udina who has also arrived at the scene, he wishes to look at the matter personally since he despises the Consensus from the bottom of his heart. He believes that the Consensus is indoctrinating people.

The recon team that slipped through the enemy lines comprises of Major Reaves and 3 other squad members, they are disguised as the Alliance system soldiers, they move through the pile of dead soldiers as they enter an alleyway full of Alliance soldiers. And next to that there is a huge ship which is carrying an estimated number of 10000 soldiers along with supplies and medicines and this recon team’s mission is to take out that ship before it creates any more trouble but just to be safe, they all agreed to rig 3 of their members with bombs which would go off in strategic points to take down the defences of the Alliance navy.

Major Reaves realizes that the situation has become direr than they had estimated. He looks back at his squad to reassure them that they can do this “I know that the situation has turned out to be quite the unexpected, but don’t worry we can work this out. So don’t dawdle, don’t even flinch and this plant would work out like a clock work!” He then looks at one of his fellow soldier “You got the cake with you? “

Ahz replies “Yes sir, I have got it right here. This one’s gonna blow that old man’s mind out “They all laugh

“You got that right, that old geezer is going to get the taste of his life time, remember the old saying? ‘The cake is a lie!’ XDD “says Ashley

Major Reaves gives them the final sitrep of the plan “Alright, alright enough with the jokes. So let’s go through the plan again” He takes out a small map from his pocket. “We have infiltrate their camp through this place and then we are all going to pay this Councillor a visit. After leaving the cake at his place all we have to do is split up and, Ahz I want you to try and make it to the Consensus, Ashley, Mako and I will go on the suicide run” Ahz speaks up “But sir! The people need you back there. Let me go for this job” before he could speak another word he is interrupted by Reaves “That’s an order Ahz! Alright then let’s roll out”

The team stands up and starts walking through the first security check point where they have a biometric scanner, a 4 drones and about a dozen men just waiting to shoot down any or all intruders. The team enters the scanner and the alarm goes off. Ahz talks to himself “Damn, how did they get past our shielding, guess this is it for us” He is then interrupted by the guard who was standing there “Hey, what are you waiting for? You have been scanned, get a move on already will ya? We don’t have other matters to attend to. Ahz takes a deep breath and starts walking again. Now they are at the entrance of the Ship and the security is awfully low so the commander starts talking with the Alliance soldier who was stationed at the second checkpoint that is at the entrance of the ship “Security seems to be a little gleam here” says the commander “yeah, apparently this war has taken a heavy toll on our soldiers, haven’t you seen the front lines? It’s crazy out there. But don’t worry sir we have got this place secured tight “says the guard “That’s good to hear sergeant” Reaves replies to him.
