you woke up as you felt tears forming on your eyes.
'why am i crying?'
you completely forgot about your dream, leaving you dumbfounded by the tears that were starting to stream down your face. you woke up— finding yourself on the floor. you were leaning on the boxes, figuring out that you fell asleep while arranging your things.
you were in a hurry to get ready, you were already a little to shirabu's birthday party. you ran to the nearest bus station to wait for a bus to arrive.

after twenty minutes of riding the bus, you finally arrived at his subdivision. scanning through the area, you recognized a two-story red roofed house in the corner and immediately you knew it was shirabu's.
you ran towards the door, hearing a female voice from inside.
"kenjiro, can you get that dear?"
'why does this feel familiar?'
"i can get it."
'no no wait-'
"y/n?" his brown eyes widened at the sight of you.
you quickly jolted into him, wrapping him into a hug. "happy birthday kenken!" you exclaimed excitedly, missing the copper haired boy too much.
a crimson blush formed across his cheek from the cute nickname you gave him.
'i really like it when she calls me that. why tho?' he thought.
"i didn't know you were coming." he said shyly as he took a peak at what you were wearing— as he blushed even harder.
'she looks too pretty.' he couldn't handle it anymore as he looked away— hiding his blush.
he pulled you inside, dragging you to the couch, while coughing out to remove the redness from his face. "i love that you're here but i don't think you'd wanna be here at this moment." he said.
