Chapter 1

Mina POV

"Yes, mom. I love you too." I said chuckles.

"Yeah. Yeah. But, wait, we just met a few hours ago mom." I continued.

I don't know how, but I could feel and imagine that my mom rolled her eyes before she spoke.

"Well, you know you are always be my baby girl. And with that, how could I'm not miss you in second. Furthermore, that's a few hours ago was not enough for me compare the fact you didn't see me for two months before." She long replied to me.

Again, I chuckles. Well, she couldn't blame me for been busy working. I love my job.

"Okay. Okay. I'm sorry. But, what can I do. I just got too much work to do. And you know how I am whenever I do something. I just can't leaving my work half done. Its make me feel uneasy. And mom, you know how much I love you. But, I have to go." I said apologising to her.

"Awww, that's sad you know. I still miss you. You barely back home and you also barely give us a call. You know just now we didn't have much time to talk. Frankly speaking, you only spend time with us like only an hour?" She said and sighed.

I just laughed that she keep babbling around and I tried to said something make her feel better. But, she know its just a excuse for me to  let go from her babbling.

"Mom, I'm sorry. I have no choice. I need my job. If not, who's going to give me a money for me to shopping? I'm not use your money. And you also won't give it to me. Remember, I always love you and dad. I'm sorry again because I barely call you or pay you and dad a visit, because you know how hectic is my works. Beside you know festival and Christmas is coming soon and it will added the hectic of my works. I promise, I will take at least a week off and spend my time with you and dad." I said to her.

I know how her feeling. I'm also miss mom and dad so much. But again, my work is a hectic. And not to mention, I have a trusted issue. So, I love to check and make sure by myself that everything is under control. I hear mom sighed. I don't know how many times she sigh.

"I hope so. And I hope you don't bail us again." She said.

And with that, I suddenly felt guilty because I remember last time I had promised travel with them but end up an urgent event caused me have to cancel the trip. This time I won't let myself to do the same mistaken again. I take a deep breathe.

"This time I promise mom. I'm sorry about last time. That was my mistake to do stupid decision mom." I said guilty.

"Don't be sweetie. I know you too well. You always take all the responsibilities to yourself and you still hardly trust your colleagues. But sometimes, you should let go and let your colleagues to handle the things when you're away." Mom said.

"Thanks for understanding mom. That's why I love you so much." I mumbled.

"Of course I know you well silly. I have carried you for 10 months." My mom chuckled.

Then, both of us burst out laughing.

"Right. You're right mom. No one will know me well as you." I said.

I gasped as I look into my watch. I just realised I have a meeting just in a few minutes. And I hate to being late.

"Oh, look mom. As much I wanted to talk to you, I really have to go for real this time. I have a meeting soon. Love you mom. And bye." I said.

"Okay, sweetheart. Take care. Bye and love you too." She said.

Then, we ended our call. As soon as the call end, I tried to readjust my facial expression to serious manners then start to walk to the meeting room from my office. Well, in this company everyone call me the evil lady. Sometime I have no choices, I have to harsh to them and push them to boost the productivity of their jobs. Sometimes I could force them back to work on Sunday like today. What could I do? One of the department screwed up the events, so I have to make sure everyone who involved this matters to have a meeting and solved the problems.

I know nowadays could use social media for a meeting but I did this on purpose because I wanted them to feel that any mistake they have made will cause any inconvenience. So that, they will aware and reduce their silly mistake. Before I got inside the meeting room, I heard a lot of murmurs inside the room. I pinched the bridge of my nose and took a deep breath then I entered the room with my popular stern face. I saw everyone become stone like a statue as soon as they saw my face. I just keep cool and took my seat then started the meeting.

"So, can anyone explain to me what's the matters?" I started said.

But, no one respond to me. Everyone keep looking down and keep an awkward silent. I sighed silently but still keep my stern face.

"Why everyone is quiet now?" I asked sternly.

I saw some of them gulped and some of them started wipe their sweat.

"Cats got your tongues or what? Answer me!" I snapped making everyone flinched.

"Miss Myoui, we have a clash of the ballrooms with two guest at the same date and sane time." Finally one of the head department from marketing started to voice out.

Crap! This really a stupid mistake. I shook my head and sighed. Everyone just keep silent and didn't dare to look at me.

"I will try to convince Mr. Chris to change his date or time. It is impossible for Mr. Park's event to be change because that was a wedding ceremony." I sighed again.

"Bambam could you pass it to me the schedule of events for this month." I said.

"Sure." He respond and nodded.

Then, he passed the schedule to me. Shoot! I cringed when I saw the events almost schedule. Again, I sighed.

"Anything else to highlight?" I asked and everyone shook their head.

"Good. Have you guys started the decorations for Christmas?" I asked.

Again, everyone keep silent. What the heck?

"Look. Now already 1st of December. Supposedly, you guys should have started on decoration already. You guys better start the decorations before Christmas begin. Come on guys! Wake up! Are you guys still in the wonderland?" I scoffed.

"Yes, we will start prepare." Everyone murmured.

I sighed.

"Well, thank you for the meeting and I will dismiss now." I said.

Everyone nodded their head and I left the meeting room. Once I stepped outside the meeting room, the murmurs erupted the room again. I shook my head and continue walk away. I went to my office and once I reached my office, I sighed because I know I had to prepare my ears get bleeding. Ugh! I really hated when I had to do this. This is exactly a stupid mistake that supposedly shouldn't happen. I took a deep breath and sighed. Come on Mina, you can do it!
