Chapter 54

Chaeyoung POV

After Mina's parents and my parents pay Mina a visit, they all went back to their place and rest. I decided to stay with Mina. She tried to get rid of me or tried to convince me to go home and rest but me being me, I don't want and insisted to stay until she gave up. She patted side of her bed to me.

"Come here, baby. You can sleep here tonight." She said.

I shook my head.

"No. You're injured and you need more space to rest your body." I said.

She chuckled.

"Its okay, Chaengie. There's a lot space right here for your small body." She said smirked.

Again, I shook my head and glared at her.

"I said no baby. How much I want and wish to sleep next to you, but its still no. I want you to rest well, Minari." I said then motioned the couch.

"I will just sleep there. Besides, my body is small enough to sleep comfortable there." I said crossed my arms and playfully glared at her.

She chuckled and she ready to against my suggestion but stop as I groaned.

"If you ever think that by me sleep next to you is romantic, I will say its stupid. How could it be romantic when you partner are in pain and you added the pain by sleeping next to them? Like you're injured and of course you have to take more rest. And its not to make you uncomfortable and restless. How inconsiderate it is. Right?" I said.

She then laughed till she winched.

"Aww, my kiddo finally grown up." She said.

I caressed her face and then took her hand kiss it.

"Hmm, I have too. Because I'm dating with granny." I said smirked.

She rolled her eyes then chuckled.

"And then, I give up. I will never win if I bickering with you." She said.

I planted my lips to hers.

"That's we call fun, baby." I said.

Then, we keep talking and enjoying ourself together until the medical effect finally kick in making Mina's fall asleep. I put the blanket on her and kiss her forehead before I went to the couch and flight to my dreamland. I heard the sound of the door creak making me woke up and I saw a brunette come in. She was holding basket of fruits then greet me.

"Good morning. You are Chaeyoung right? I'm Nayeon, Im Nayeon." She said.

I used my palm to cover my mouth to yawn and nodded my head.

"Good morning too. Nice to finally meet you, Nayeon and finally see you in real." I said as I walked towards her and shook her hand.

"You could have a seat first. I need to go freshen up myself first. Excuse me." I said.

She nodded her head then pulled a chair next to Mina. I went to Mina's side to wake up her.

"Hey sleepy head. Wakey wakey. Nayeon is here." I said softly in low tone.

Mina then woke up and rubbed her eyes.

"Oh, hi Nayeon." She said in her raspy morning voice.

I love hearing her morning voice. Its so sexy. I smiled.

"I will be right back." I said and pecked Mina head.

Both of them smile and nodded. Then, I walked to the bathroom and freshen up myself. After my quick routine, I saw both of them were laughing and Mina was waving at me motioned to sit next to her. When I sit next to her, she passed me Nayeon's phone to me and I smiled.

"She's beautiful. Just like you." I said passed her phone back to her.

I think her eyes copy from her dad. That's I thought but I didn't said it because I know it will trigger her. Nayeon sighed.

"So, I have told Jeongyeon about everything. I'm glad he accept it and forgive me, even thought he heart broken that time. He feeling useless as he don't know what happen. But, I assuring him that everything was over. Thankfully he loves Jennie." Nayeon said.

"That's good." I said smiled.

She nodded her head.

"That's why I want to thank you and apologise to both of you, especially to you, Mina. If you didn't believe me and didn't help me, I don't until when I have to followed his threaten." Nayeon said starts tearing.

Mina patted her hands.

"Its okay Nayeon. Everything is fine now. Oh, what happen to Bambam's sister and father?" Mina said.

Hearing Mina asked about Bambam's sister I know she referring to Yeri. Its make me shaking all of sudden. Mina noticed it and she hold tight my hands.

"Yeri was caught as his partner same as his father. They actually ruined an illegal business that involve human trafficking and prostitution. So, what we expect was right." Nayeon said.

"Huh?" I'm confused.

"Actually, the video and the photos that you see last time we just edit it. We just suspect he was involve with all that, but we never get evidence. But after Bambam was arrest, he confessed all his illegal activity and that's why they could find Yeri and his dad." Mina said.

I just nodded my head understand.

"Bambam's dad actually one of potential director at the time your dad worked for Mr. Minho. But, your dad was the one who caught him doing illegal activity at the hotel. So, he was fired as Mr. Minho don't want to take it to police as he don't want affect hotel reputation. And that lead to your incident at the pool. Yeri from the start became your best friend because they want to spy your family action." Mina continue.

I nodded my head again. Woah! There's a lot info. Mina then patted my hands again as I was zoom out.

"Its fine Chaengie. Everything is over now. Desperate what they do to us, I really want to thanks them." She said.

I tilted my head in confused.

"Because of them, I meet you again." She said smiled.

I smiled sheepishly. Aww, she can be a sweet talker. I bet my face is red. Then, we heard someone clear her throat. Shoot! I forget Nayeon still here. I turn to face her and she smirked at us.

"Aww, how sweet both of you. I want Jeongyeon being sweet talker like this too." She pouted.

She's funny. Even this is first time we meet, but she don't scared to expressed her emotion.

"Oh, we have to thanks to Nayeon also Chaengie. She's save our life." Mina patted my hand and I looked at her in confused.

"Nayeon have told us Bambam's plan and she swapped his pendrive and let me keep Bambam's pendrive. Besides, we have discussed that if anything happened, I have to send 'SOS' to her. Then, she will report to the police." Mina said.

"Nayeon has warned me that Bambam was a harmful person, so I must beware." She continued.

"Then, when did you send the message to Nayeon?" I was curious and asked.

She chuckled.

"Well, everything happen too sudden and plan has changed. After Bambam's the first shot, I used my smart watch to call Nayeon instead. So, everything was record and she call the police on the right time. Thank you Nayeon for helping us." She said smiled to Nayeon.

I looked at Nayeon and smiled. Thank God she helped us.

"You're welcome. This will be return of my mistake to both of you. So, we are good now?" She asked looking both of us.

We nodded our head and said in unison.

"Yes, we good now." Then, three of us burst in laughed.

Thank you, God! For bring this friendship that I need in my life. And thank you for this beautiful lady in my life.
