One week later...

Jungkook pov :

"Hyung??"

"Yes Jungkook", he replied softly.

"Can you help me out with this case please??"

"Sure, what is it?"

"I spoke to the client yesterday, her father died 2 months back and the police claims its a suicide. But she is sure that her father wouldn't do that, but the rest of the family members also reported to the police that he suicided because he had depression and was taking medicine for it. The police had found the medicine near his bed as evidence. But his daughter is so sure that it was not his medicine. The case was closed but she reopened the case asking for our help. She thinks someone in their family must have killed her dad to inherit his property."

"Oh my that's a tough case for a fresher. How come they let you take up this case?

"Oh it's not my case, it's Alex sir's case, he asked me to go through the case file and tell him what I think and how we should proceed with the case so that I also have an idea on how to proceed with these types of cases."

"Okay then let me see the case file."

I got up from my seat and pulled my chair near his so I could show him the file. 'I can't take my eyes off him, he looks so handsome. Will he be interested in me ?.... Concentrate on the case and stop thinking about him..
It's just been a week since I started working here and I'm already drooling over a guy. Seriously what is wrong with me?'

"Jungkook ?? ... Are you listening to me??"

"Sorry what??", Oh shit what was he saying ....

"You seem to be lost in your own thoughts." , he said smiling at me. Aww that smile. Why is this happening to me !!?

"I'm sorry I was just thinking about the case.", I lied. I was thinking about you, how handsome you look and how cute your smile is....

"Okay so you need to talk to all the family members and ask his daughter where she and the rest of the family was during her father's death and if they had any alibi to where they were. Then enquire whether there is any other person who comes to the house often, like a maid or any friend or relative.", he said moving closer to me. His hands brushed mine for a second which gave me chills. I moved a little far from his chair so we wouldn't be touching. I can't sit that close to him atleast not here, I might just kiss him if he moves closer to me.

"Okay thank you hyung", I said and smiled at him and went back to my desk. The only thing separating our seats was the table slab and the computer. Sitting opposite to him itself is so hard for me just imagine if my seat was next to his, oh god.

I continued drafting another case I was asked to look through. Namjoon sir walked out of his office and went to Taehyung's desk.

" Hey Tae are you up for drinks today after work?? " , he asked him casually as though he was talking to his friend.

"Yeah sure hyung", he replied and Namjoon went back to his office.

Hyung?? Are they close?? Are they friends or family or something more?
Why do I care so much!?

" He is my cousin! " , Taehyung said looking at my confused reaction.

" Ohh okay. " I feel so embarrassed ughh does it show on my face that I was so curious to know what they were to eachother.

" Do you wanna join us for drinks after work ?? "

" Umm.. " , wow that was sudden. Why is he inviting me for drinks!?
