Midoriya POV
I sat in the festival, from the stands. I missed the first two rounds, along with the first fight. Some guy named Shinso won in that one apparently.
The next one had Sho- I mean Todoroki! Yay! I watched as the match started. I was expecting more from the other guy, but Todoroki won immediately. Hm. He was the son of Endeavor right? I would have expected him to use his fire quirk. As he melted the ice though...
He looked...
Sad.
He wouldn't look at his father no matter how much he screamed.
He didn't seem happy about the win.
And he didn't use his fire quirk.
I smirked. I get it.
He'll make an amazing villain.
I watched a few more matches. I examined and took notes on everyone's quirks. They were all super powerful.
I went to the waiting room, wanting to congratulate Todoroki. When I got there, a lot of class 1 A was there too. I noticed the group Todoroki was with. It had Mina, Kaminari, and a redhead I didn't know. He reminded of a shark with his teeth. In the corner was a bird kid all alone. I thought for a moment.
All of them were strong. I'm sure a lot of them have worse backstories than they're letting on. If I kidnap them all, we have the potential of five new members that could also work as spies.
Before announcing my presence, I hid behind the corner, texting Kurogiri.
Me: Have you found a new base yet?
I couldn't exactly bring them to nowhere.
Smokey: Yes, just now actually. It's a warehouse. It used to be a factory for sleeping drugs, so we have a useful supply of it.
Me: That's perfect, cuz I just found some new potential recruits
Smokey: Just send a location when you're ready, and I'll give you a portal. Once you get them through, I'll be prepared to put them to sleep.
Me: k
I smiled and put my phone in my pocket. I took off my disguise since no one who'd recognize me was there.
"Oh, hey Izuku! I didn't know you came to watch!" Mina said as she was the first one to notice me. They rest turn to me.
"Oh, you must be the friend I've heard so much about!" Shark Boy said. "I'm Kirishima!" I smiled and waved.
"Hey! I just wanted to congratulate you on all of your wins! Kaminari, don't be too down, that girl's quirk was practically made to counter yours. Anyways! I made something for all of you! It's not much, but I thought maybe you'd like to see it now?" I said putting on my most innocent face. They all nodded their heads, even Todoroki.
Perfect.
I looked at bird kid. "You can come too if you want, it won't take long." I used my signature smile.
"Alright," he said with a curt nod. When I turned away from them, I had an evil smirk plastered on my face.
"Just follow me." I wondered around until I found a small dark room. "In here. Don't turn the lights on, I want it to be a surprise!"
