Episode 2

"Hey Amity!"

Luz called out, waving hello to the green-headed witch with a big smile on her face.

Amity, on the other hand, was internally freaking out. More like internally gay panicking--

"Oh..Hey Luz..What's up..?"

Luz stood in front of Amity, huffing and trying to catch her breath. Seems like she ran.

"Nothing much! Have you heard about the masquerade coming up?"

The human asked, raising an eyebrow and pointing to a flyer. She was a bit excited.

Amity's face grew a bit red, eyes widening a bit. She tried to act normal, but just nodded instead.

"Uh..y-yeah.. Boscha told me about it.."

The greenette spoke, clutching her books close to her torso. Jeez this was a bit hard..

"Are you going? And if so do you have any idea who your partner is gonna be??"

Luz asked, eyes lighting up a bit in hopes that Amity would be going. She didn't want to be alone.

Amity just stared at Luz, blinking a few times and beginning to panic even more. How could she say no?

"Uh..yeah.. Are you going..?"

Luz gasped in excitement and clapped, nodding as well. "Yes! Of course I'm going! Oh this is gonna be so fun!!"

The human hugged the witch briefly and giggled a bit, waving goodbye and walking off to her class.

Amity just stood there, her knuckles turning white because of how tightly she had been clutching her books.

What just happened?

As classes ended, Luz, Willow, and Gus had all been outside talking to each other.

"See you guys later?"

Gus asked, waving goodbye to his friends and walking home. Luz and Willow both nodded and waved.

"I'll see you later, Luz. My poor plants must be so thirsty."

Willow sighed, walking off to her own home and leaving Luz alone. Luz just nodded and waved, going her own way home.

Amity had been talking with a few of her own friends, but couldn't be bothered to pay attention.

Her mind was somewhere else, actually...and that somewhere else was Luz.

Should Amity ask her now? Or wait until last minute?
