Chapter 4~Christmas Eve!

I was worried that George wasnt resting. I hoped we would be able to go home for Christmas. Otherwise, I would be bringing Christmas to George here.

I yawned and the nurses were bringing in breakfast to him and I. That was really sweet of them. George did not feel like eating yet so he went back to bed to rest until we heard what the doctor had to say.

Otherwise, we would be stuck right here. George's fever had went down. His throat was sore still. I felt so bad for him.

I was worried about him. I could not sleep well because we were not in the same bed together. I grew used to having his warm body beside me in bed next to me.

Where he belonged with me. He took care of me. And I would always take care of him to. I was now sitting in a chair beside his bed watching something on tv.

And flipping through an old boring magazine that was over a year old. George snored a little bit. It was kind of cute the noises he made though. I smile over at him. I could hardly wait to wear his ring with pride on my finger.

All the girls were going to be green with envy when they saw the ring on my finger.

"Mia?" George softly coughs my name.

"Baby do you want anything?" I worry.

"To go home" he groans.

It was Christmas Eve Day. He really wanted to go home for the holidays. I did to. I was not wanting to spend our Christmas here. I knew a little bit why he was so upset. But I could not let him know that I knew it.

"I know you do sweetheart. But at least we are together here" I point out. "and you are not alone"

"True" he sighs.

I brush his bangs out of his face. Then kiss his forehead. Making him smile at me.

I can't help but smile back.
