~Y/n's POV~ "Alright I think that's everything." I said as I dusts my hands off. "And you're sure you want to go y/n?" My dad said as he put his hands on my shoulders. "Ya daddy, I'm sure. This is really important to me." I said as he takes his hands back to his sides. "I'm going to be so worried! You're only 16!" My mom said as she started to tear up. "It's ok mum, I'll be fine. I have all my stuff." I said as I pointed to my blue ford truck.

"Ok, but please be careful, and drive carefully, especially on the highway. People can be idiots" "yes daddy I know. You've been telling me that since I started driving." "I know I just don't want to lose my baby girl." "I know daddy hehe." My dad then hugged me "I love you so much." I hugged back "I love you too daddy." I then got into my truck. "Bye! I love you!" "We love you too!" My parents said in sinc as they waved watching me drive off.

It was now sundown and so I decided to park in a parking lot for the night. I slid to the back seats and took out a gravity falls journal 3 book under the left seat I bought on Amazon. I am a big fan of the show, so when I found out there was a fan journal 3 book... well, I just had to buy it. I opend the book and turnd to the last page, where a friend drew a map.

I was trying to get to the place where the most found phenomenons were located. When I first discovered one, it was when I went on vacation in Massachusetts, during the summer with my parents when I was 15.

"This place is fucking shit!" "Lenard don't swear!" My mom said to my dad when she looked up from her phone. My mom was sitting on the bed closest to the balcony, while my dad was standing in front of it complaining about it being broken.
I was just sitting on the other bed closest to the door watching my dad be really pissed about it. "I can't help it, we paid a lot of money to spend five days here, only to have a room with a broken door! Someone can easily get in!" 'Maybe they won't if you stop breaking even more trying to fix it!' I said in my head. Since we got here late, it was already getting dark, so we just watched TV.

It was 1:26 in the morning and I couldn't sleep because my dad was snoring like crazy. 'How does mum put up with this!' I thought. I tried to ignore it, but then I heard a crinkling Noise. 'What the hell' I thought as I sat up. I looked at the table where the bag of chips were. 'What the fuck!?' I thought seeing one of the chip bags move.
I got up to see what it was, and once I was in front of it, a little troll, goblin thing popped out. 'Holy shit, what the fuckin hell!?' I thought as we were just staring at each other. "Please don't hurt me." It said as it looked up at me, shaking in fear. "What, nonononono I won't." I said kneeling to it's height. It was so small, at least 6 and a half inches. It's skin was was gray with a tint of green, no hair, three pointy fingers, pointy ears, and bright green eyes like a cat but a round pupil like a human. It wore a a faded dark blue hoodie with baggy jeans, but was barefoot.
"Thank you." it said looking relieved. "So uh, what are you if you don't mind me asking? " I asked while smiling. "Oh I'm a Troglen." It said smiling back. "Huh, that's interesting." "Heh I guess. The names snicker by the way." "Nice to meet you snicker, I'm y/n. By the way, what are you doing in our chip bag?" "Oh I was hungry, and you humans have such interesting foods." "Oh... would you like to be friends?" "Really?! I've never had a friend before!" Snicker said excited. "Ya!" I said also excited.

It's been 3 days, and I found out snicker is nonbinary and goes by they/them. They told me all about how there is so much more mystery in other places then them here. They would tell me every night I was there when my parents were sleeping. The most known place with strange phenomenons was an unknown place in Oregon they heard from there cousin who heard it from her uncle who went there to visit a friend for their wedding. On the last night there, they drew a map of the US and where all the strangest phenomenons were that they knew of in my gravity falls journal 3 book. Ever since then I've been looking up strange phenomenons every day.

"Ok so, I'm here." I said out loud pointing to Pennsylvania on the map. "It took me almost 9 and a half hours to get here. If I'm current, I should be there in 3 days and 1 hour." I said Writing the math on a scrap of paper. I then put the paper in the book and closed it. I didn't have a lot of money so I had to use it sparingly. That ment I couldn't waste it on a hotel room for the night, so instead I just slept in the back of my truck. It wasn't that comfy but it was better than nothing.
