Y/n pov
I was sitting on my bed doing my homework, when my phone rang. I picked it up, it was squints. What did he want? I answered "hey what's up squints?" I said confused, "y/n! Come to the sandlot now! It's benny, he's with a girl!" My heart sank hearing those words. I hung up and changed into a blue sweater and some leggings, and ran to the sandlot.
Squints pov
I had called y/n because benny was with a girl, and benny usually tells y/n who he's with, but this time I know y/n didn't know because she hung up the phone really quick. Soon, y/n arrived and i signaled her to come with me, once she saw benny kissing the girl, she ran away. I felt bad for her so i ran up to benny and slapped him hard on the face, then ran. I soon caught up to y/n, "y/n! Wait up!!" I yelled worried for her. She stopped running, I ran up to her and hugged her. After 5 minutes benny showed up "what do you want, man" I said mad at him for what he did to y/n, she was like a sister to me and I hate to see her cry like this. "I...I just wanna talk to her" he said worried but I didn't care.
