The water was warm, and blended in with my hair. My luscious red hair was in a waterfall braid and I was wearing my once white shells now they are more like pink. I didn't know what to do with the body, my father would kill me if he found out it happened again. I decided to hide it in my cave where I keep my wonders. My name is Ariel I'm now 17 years old and heart broken. Eric left me for that terrible,lying, ugly witch Ursula! He would of been mine, but that old witch made her self beautiful and then used my voice to take him away from me. To this day I will murder any male who comes near or in my beautiful home. Eric was very handsome he had dark brown hair and blue eyes and he was built like an ox too. He was always a gentleman and was very smart, he wouldn't leave anyone behind. To bad I had to kill him for breaking my heart as painfully as he did. I realized I wanted to free the world of all these terrible human men so the other human females wouldn't be heart broken like me. My father learned of this when the sea turtles were swimming and found a body of a man I had killed at the shore. That cowardly fish flounder bailed on me when I told him it was me and told my father. He was very angry with me and told me never to do it again or he will send me to the bottom of the ocean and banish me from my home. I can't help my desire to kill these filthy men. Sebastian followed me around everywhere, if it went to the kitchen there he was, my bedroom, the park. The only place he wouldn't follow me was to the bathroom he would wait at the door. My dad had established Sebastian the sea crab to be my ROYAL babysitter, ever since the first incident.
I decided I was done with this babysitting of me and just had to get away from Sebastian. Around 2 o'clock I went to the bathroom with the fork I had smuggled from a secret stash of human things I owned. I started jabbing at the wall with the prongs of the fork. I didn't want Sebastian to get suspicious so I did it everyday until the time came. Each day the hole would get bigger and bigger. Once there was a small opening probably about the size of flounder I tried to squeeze through. After minutes of struggling I got out to the other side, I had to cover my mouth not to squeal. I swam as fast as I could trying to make sure I was out of sight from Sebastian. I wasn't looking where I was going only looking behind me and then, I had fell back knocking a few bubbles from me. I looked to see what I had hit but, I didn't hit anything, it hit me. This "it" was a human. More importantly a human male, I thought of how I enjoyed the first kill. But then I thought of my father and turned away from the human. I started to swim away but then my fin was locked in place and I could move. Every thing was starting to get a little hazy and I couldn't see straight. I looked down at my hands which were shaking and had a tingly feeling to them. My nails started to grow long and my teeth got as strong and sharp as the sharks. My heart broke into millions of pieces and I thought of Eric. I got ahold of my fin and charged at this stranger. I grabbed his leg and pulled him under the water and bit his throat with my shark-like teeth. the taste of blood spewed in my nose making me feel pleasure and warmth.
My mouth filled with the metallic taste of blood and the smooth texture of skin. It was then Sebastian had finally found me and took me to my father. With the look on my father's face it seemed I was really in for it. his face red with anger and with terror. How could his perfect and younger daughter not obey his orders, let alone kill someone.
"HOW DARE YOU ARIEL! I GIVE YOU SIMPLE ORDERS AND YOU STILL DISOBEYED ME! I HERE BY BANISH YOU FROM OUR LAND!"
My father boomed I gasped not knowing where I would go now.
"Fine, goodbye father good luck," I said pleased with my work, but inside my head I could still not figure out where to go so I just swam in the other direction.
After hours of swimming I looked back and saw nothing but the big blue ocean.
Damn what am I going to eat I thought as my stomach growls. I then saw from the distance a bright orange anemone.
There has got to be something in there.
I get closer and see a clown fish out of its anemone. It stays still just staring at me and I the same. Then another clownfish pops out this one a male.
"Coral don't," the male fish says. The female fish named coral looks down.
I look down as well, I see a small tavern of fish eggs. Great this will fill me up. I start to get ready to attack. The female clownfish swims quickly to the bottom of the tavern, but I swim quicker. She puts up a great fight, but my razor sharp teeth had ripped her flesh so easily it was like cutting paper. Her mate came towards me but a simple whack of my fun and he was out. The eggs filled me up and I was on my way to a far far away place. It was now dark and the stars were out, i couldnt help myself. I went up to shore, it was so beautiful this night. I was confused only for the fact that i wasn't even a little bit tired. What could this mean, does it even mean anything? I decided there is only one place i could figure this out...Ursula, the sea witch. I had recently found out by my piece of trash father that he had lied to me about being related to ursula. She is my aunt, but she is crazy so like he won't tell anyone about being related to her. I started swimming fast downwards, lets see how did that map to her house go. Down to hell and a right towards the green, crystals and treasures to hide their grief, then you'll find darkness amoungst the dark queen. I swam down fast, made a right on the bottom of the moss on the sea floor. I then found the cave of her treasures, you would think when i say treasures you'd think of jewels, crowns, and gold, well no these treasures are far different. These are souls that ursula has taken. A cave of souls, and crystals the crystal are all faded wishes and if you touch them well lets just say you'll be messed up. I carefully swam inside avoiding the grip of the souls and the crystals next to me. After an hour of wondering through the tunnel i have reached a door of kelp and around it was pearls and other shells. I cleared my throat and called out. "Ursula, o great and powerful, I wish to speak with you," I say loud and clearly. I hear a hum and a ruffling sound. " Yes my dear come in," Her deep voice rang. I walked into the room. The room had a large starfish bed and in the middle of the room there was a cauldron that was already bubbling, a vanity mirror covered with tons of make up, and then there was her sitting on a sofa as though she awaited for my arrival. Ursula was prettier than people gave her credit of. She had long white hair, and had a tint of purple to her skin, bright lucious lips, and large hips, and she was kind of big. The out fit she always wore was a black strapless silk dress. She was not a mermaid like me, she was an octopus hear tenticles long and sleak, dark purple compared to the rest of her body.
"Yes,my dear you called?" She said.
"I wish to know what is happening to me, i have devoured human skin as you already know and now i do not sleep and my teeth are razor sharp, and my fins are different," i talk fast. She laughs at my clueness.
"Well my dear, you are infected-" She started. A tear streamed down my face and she stopped.
"Don't cry darling, being infected is only a gift." She claimed.
"I don't understand what is this gift for ?" I ask.
"This is a gift to human kind, you can rid this world of evil, of anything that you loathe the most, i bet if you make a deal with me i can give your legs back and you may use your powers above as well," She smirked.
I cringed remembering why i hate her so, this women is the reason i am lonely, why is was banished from my home.
"No thank you im off now you bitch!" i yelled. I turnt to swim away until she caught me by the tail.
"Now now lets not be hasty," She sassed.
My senses took over and i slashed her cheek with an extra long nail, she screamed with anger and lost her grip of me. I then turnt around only to slice her head off her huge body with my scales. This bitch was finished. She ruined my happily ever after and tons of others this she deserved. A great deal of light flashed as many souls were released to the sky. I walked over to a spell book to read through it. I looked through all her stuff then left, taking nothing. It was sad being all alone, but I had no choice I was banished from my only home. I just kept swimming forward waiting to find somewhere else.
