Chapter 5: Here Comes The Chores

It has been a couple of days since you started living at tenchi's house and had small training sessions with tenchi and ryoko and while you have gotten stronger, you feel that you are still quite weak so washu comes up with a way to makes things more easier for you.......but.

(Washu): Good news y/n I may of just found a way to get you to proper fighting shape and help you get stronger.

(Y/n): Really!?

(Washu): Bad news is you will have to work for it.

(Y/n): What do I have to do?

(Washu): Well I have noticed that for the past couple of days that you have been here, you have only been training and not helping around the house.

(Tenchi): He does not have to help me with the carrots, I can manage that on my own you know.

(Sasami): You did say you wanted to help me a couple of days ago.

Your eyes widen as you quickly realize that you forgot about that.

(Y/n): S-Sorry sasami......I forgot about that...

(Sasami): It's okay.

(Washu): What I want you to do y/n is while I am making something for you, you have to do chores around the house such as helping sasami with cooking and clean, helping tenchi with his chores and so on.

(Y/n): Y-Yes mam.

(Washu): Good boy!

(Sasami): You can help me with cleaning first!

(Y/n): Okay.

(Ryo-ohki): Meow!

Sasami runs off into the kitchen as you walk after her and head into the kitchen.

(Tenchi): What are you making for him?

Washu simply looks at tenchi and places a finger over her mouth as she walks away to her door and heads inside.

(Tenchi): Hmmm.....

Meanwhile with you and sasami.

(Sasami): Okay the first thing I want you to do is help me cook some meals for everyone in the house!

(Y/n): What do they eat?

(Sasami): Usually anything I give them so I will lay out the food and we will get to cooking!

(Y/n): Let's do this!

The two of you got to work and as sasami was easily cutting up carrots and other vegetables ......you on the other hand did not manage as well as while you had experience with cooking, you did breaks eggs by accident, broke a couple of plates, and cut yourself a few times with the knife while cutting but thankfully sasami gladly managed to teach you how she does it and sure enough you got the hand of it although you are still not as good as sasami.

After a little while you both finish cooking up a large meal for tenchi and the others and bring it out into the table as everyone sits at the table waiting for the food.

(Washu): I can tell you didn't exactly have an easy time cooking.

You look over at your little injuries on your hand and just laugh abit.

(Y/n): Yeah, I am not that great of a cook but thanks to sasami I managed to get a little better at it.

(Sasami): We do need to buy a couple of plates after this though. 

Sasami giggles abit as your face goes red which makes everyone laugh.

(Y/n): Sorry.....

(Sasami): No need to worry.

Everyone started to dig into the food and it was a great time until ayeka tried to mouth feed tenchi which did not sit well with ryoko as she also tries to do the same thing which set ayeka off.

(Ayeka): Excuse me ryoko but you should not be bothering lord tenchi while he eats!

(Ryoko): Oh shut it princess, I am just giving him some of my food.

(Ayeka): Oh please your food could be poisoned.

You look over and noticed that the food that ryoko has on your plate is the food you made you a little upset until sasami pats your head.

(Sasami): She does not mean that, She always goes overboard when arguing with ryoko.

(Y/n): Good to know....

(Ryoko): What about your food? It could be poisoned as well!

The moment ryoko says this, sasami looks dead inside as ryo-ohki and you comfort her.

(Y/n): Don't worry we will get through this.....

Ayeka and ryoko continue to argue more and more until it gets quite heated until washu has had enough and wraps the two girls up in a strong rope and puts duct tape around their mouths.

(Washu): That will shut you two up for now, let's finish up the rest of this wonderful meal!

(Ryoko and Ayeka): MMMMMMMMMMM

It's didn't take long until everyone besides ayeka and ryoko had their fill as you, sasami and ryo-ohki head back into the kitchen to clean up the dishes.

(Sasami): Thank you for the help y/n, If you don't mind can you help me more often.

(Y/n): Sure I don't mind that.

(Sasami): Thank you.

(Ryo-ohki): Meow!

(Y/n): Wait that reminds me, has tenchi gone out to getting ryo-ohki's carrots yet?

(Sasami): Hmmmmm no he has not done that yet but he will be doing it soon since he usually works after a meal or in the morning.

(Y/n): Alright I will follow after him when I am finished with this.

(Ryo-ohki): Meow Meow!

Ryo-ohki hops onto your right shoulder and meows at you until you realized what she means.

(Y/n): You want to come with me?

Ryo-ohki happily smiles and lets out a loud meow which makes you smile.

(Y/n): Okay I will take you with me.

Both you and sasami get all the dishes cleaned, put them away and just after you finish, you take off to where tenchi works with ryo-ohki sitting ontop of your head.

(Sasami): Take care!

Sasami lets out a big stretch as it cuts to you flying in the air heading towards the fields that tenchi works at.

(Y/n): How you doing up there ryo-ohki?

(Ryo-ohki): Meow......

(Y/n): Huh?

You stop in the air, gently grab onto ryo-ohki and hold her in your hands in front of you.

(Y/n): You okay?

You notice ryo-ohki is looking up in the air and looking quite worried but as you also look up you see nothing.

(Y/n): Is something up there? I don't see anything........!

You look back down at ryo-ohki with widened eyes.

(Y/n): Is there something up there?

Ryo-ohki lets out a quiet meow and nods as you look back up into the sky with narrowed eyes.

(Y/n): This could be bad, are they close to the planet?

Ryo-ohki nods her head again as you hold ryo-ohki tightly.

(Y/n): Let's get to tenchi and warn him.

Ryo-ohki lets out a loud meow as you take off to find tenchi.

(A/n): Done and done, these next few chapters will more or less be quite chill chapters but soon enough someone will arrive to ruin it all and I may actually do 2 more chapters for this book just to get it going but that all depends on my mood but anyway I will see you all in the next chapter of this book.
