Sommer looks at her star-struck partners. "Whoa! Not bad." Bill and Ted both say as the man exits the phone booth. "Greetings, my excellent friends." Rufus says noticing everyone's awed looks. "Do you know when the Mongols ruled China?" Ted questions. "Well... perhaps we could ask them. Bill S. Preston, Esquire...Sommer Mariposa DeAngelis...and Ted "Theodore" Logan. Gentlemen and Lady, I'm here to help you with your history report." Rufus says causing her to tilt her head at him.
"What? How?" She questions just as another phone booth falls from the sky. "Whoa! Whoo! - I hate that part." Voices say from the booth. " Bill? Sommer?" Ted questions. "What?" Bill questions. "Strange things are afoot at the Circle K." Ted says as the people walk out, Sommer making eye-contact with herself. "Dudes, you guys are gonna go back in time." Future Ted says. "Yeah! You are going to have a most excellent adventure through history." Future Bill says. "Who are you guys?" Sommer questions. "We're you, dude!" Future Sommer says pointing at Sommer. "No way. No way!" Ted says. "Yes way, Ted!" Future Ted says.
Sommer stares at her future self causing her to do the same. "Where'd you get that?" Sommer questions causing Future Sommer to look down at the pink jacket on her. "You'll figure that out later." Sommer says. "Sixty-nine, dudes!" Future Bill and Ted say causing Bill and Ted to gape at them in shock. "Whoa!" Bill and Ted say. "Look, we've gotta go." Ted says. "Yeah, we gotta get back to the report. Rufus! Listen to this dude, Rufus. He knows what he's talking about." Future Bill says as he points at Rufus slightly. "Right. Oh, and Ted, give my love to the most bodacious babe in all of San Dimas." Future Ted says. "Who?" Ted questions, a clueless smile on his face.
"You'll see." Future Ted says, but Sommer couldn't help but catch Future her and Future Ted lace their hands together. "Gentleman, Lady...is everything all right?" Rufus questions the future them's. "Yeah, except, how come..." Future Bill says as they huddle away from them. "Ted, don't forget to wind your watch!" Future Ted shouts causing Ted to nod. "Thanks, Rufus. Catch ya later, Bill, Sommer and Ted." Future thems shout. "Dude, are you sure we should be doing this?" Ted questions. "Ted, you and I have witnessed many things, but nothing as bodacious as what just happened. Besides we told ourselves to listen to this guy." Bill says from next to Sommer. "What if we were lying?" Ted questions.
"Why would we lie to ourselves?" Bill questions. "How are you gonna help us?" Bill questions as they follow Rufus into the phone booth. "Yeah, are you gonna call someone and get the answers?" Ted questions. "Gentlemen, and Lady, we're gonna do a lot more than that." Rufus says as red, orange, and blue lightning surround the booth. "Whoa. Excellent." Bill and Ted says. "Brace yourselves, amigos. Gentlemen...Lady...we're history." Rufus says as they soar through time. Bill and Ted shouting, Rufus standing there, but Sommer was staring out the clear door in amazement.
"Rufus, where are we?" She questions, a smile on her face. "These are the circuits of history, gentlemen and lady. They'll take us to any point in time we wish." Rufus says. "How?" Bill questions. "Modern technology, William." Rufus says as they suddenly start falling through the air. "Whoa!" They shout. "That was most unprecedented, Rufus." Bill says. "Yeah. But where are we, Rufus?" Ted questions as they step out of the booth. "Austria, 1805, the French have just invaded." Rufus says. "Bill, check it out! We're in the middle of a war, dude!" Ted says cheerfully.
"Amigos, time to depart." Rufus says. "How's it going, dude?" Bill and Ted question Napoleon. Suddenly there was an explosion, just as they left the warzone. "Now where are we, dude? Oh, it's my house." Ted says as they land at Ted's house. "Rufus, can we go anywhere we want, at any time?" Sommer questions. "Gentlemen, and Lady, you can do anything you want, as long as you remember this: No matter what happens, you must get to that report. Got it?" Rufus questions causing the trio to nod. "All right, amigos, that book will give you the number of any place you want to go. Now, most important, no matter what you do, no matter where you go, that clock, the clock in San Dimas, is always running. Got it?" Rufus questions. "Yeah." The trio says. "All right, time for me to go." Rufus says. "What do you mean, Rufus?" Ted questions. "Yeah, aren't you coming with us?" Bill questions. "Gentlemen, and Lady you're on your own." Rufus says as he climbs into the booth, leaving, another empty one taking it's place.
"Ted?" Bill questions causing Ted to look over. "What?" Ted questions. "This has been a most unusual day." Bill says just as a man, more specifically Napoleon. "Guys, it's Napoleon." She says walking over. "Who?" Ted questions causing her to smile slightly. "The short, dead dude from our history review." She says causing his eyes to widen, a smile on his face. "Ted, Sommer, I have a most excellent idea. Grab his legs, we gotta get him inside." Bill says as they start to pick up Napoleon. "I think I've figured out a way to pass our report." Bill says. "How?" Ted and Sommer question.
"Well, we've got one historical figure here. Maybe we can go back and get some more." Bill says. "Yeah!" Ted says as they bring Napoleon inside. They put Napoleon on Ted's bed, just as Ted calls his little brother inside. "Deacon, you have to watch this guy. His name is Napoleon. He's a very famous French dude." Ted says. "We have decided to collect other important figures from history for an oral report we are doing." Bill says crossing his arms, a proud look on his face. "While we are gone, you are not to let him out of your sight. Here is some money. Take him to the movies or something." Ted says as Sommer notices Napoleon waking up.
"Napoleon, I am Bill. We'll take you back to France after you tell us what you think of San Dimas. This is Ted's little brother, Deacon." Bill says looking at Napoleon. "Hi." Deacon says. "He'll take care of you." Bill says as he turns to Ted. "Ready, Ted?" Bill questions. "Ready, Bill. Ready Sommer?" Ted questions turning to the girl causing her to nod. "Ready Ted." She says. "Let's go back into history." Bill says as they walk out towards the front of the house. "This should be most triumphant." Ted says. "I want to speak with you, son. Alone please, Bill...and girl I don't know." Mr. Logan says causing both Sommer and Bill to walk out of the house.
"I think I have an idea." Sommer says as she turns to Bill. "Excellent! What is it?" Bill questions causing Sommer to grab the phone. "What's Ted's home number?" She questions as Bill gives her to number. "Here." She says handing the phone to Bill, him shoving it back, eventually Mr. Logan picks up as Bill holds it. "Captain Logan? This is Deputy Van Halen down at the station." Bill says causing Sommer to place a hand over her forehead. "Deputy Van Halen?" She hears Mr. Logan say. She notices Ted turn around causing both boys to do their air guitar riff. "I'm new, dude... sir. Look, we found your keys, and if you want 'em, you better come and get 'em." Bill says as he hangs up quickly. Bill raises his brows at Sommer causing her to shake her head.
Ted rushes out of the house and turns to both Bill and Sommer. "We are in serious trouble. My dad already signed me up, my plane leaves tomorrow night." Ted says frantically. "Only if we fail, dude." Bill says. "No way!" The trio says as they hop into the phone booth, Sommer looking through the phone book. "Okay, we got Sigmund Freud, Beethoven..." Sommer says looking through the book. "Uh... Is there one for Western Movement in America in the 19th Century?" Bill questions. "Yeah." Sommer says dialing the number. "Well then...let's reach out and touch someone." Bill says as Sommer puts the phone back, their adventure starting.
