Euphy's POV
We were peacefully eating when suddenly, three guys plopped down at our table. And not just any three guys — these were the same "princes" that had every girl in the cafeteria screaming their lungs out earlier.
Yes, them. The ones I've already dubbed the "Freaking 3." Why? Let's just say they're a special breed of annoying.
I was about to take a sip of my juice when Prince Tyrone, the biggest pain of the bunch, spoke up.
"Hoy, bakit kayo nandito?" Tyrone demanded, his tone full of arrogance.
"Uh, kasi gusto namin?" I shot back, trying to keep my cool.
"Tss. Bakit dito kayo nakaupo?" he pressed.
"Bawal ba?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Oo," he answered, like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Talaga lang ha? Eh nasan ang pruweba na sa inyo 'tong table na 'to?" I challenged, crossing my arms.
"May sticker sa ilalim," he said with a smirk.
And like a total fool, I actually bent down to check. But of course, there was nothing there.
"HAH! Uto-uto ka pala," Tyrone burst out laughing, his friends joining in.
The entire cafeteria erupted in laughter, but I wasn't about to let them get the last laugh. I stood up, ready to give Tyrone a piece of my mind—or maybe a slap—when someone suddenly bumped into me.
SPLASH!
My juice flew out of my hand and splattered all over Tyrone's face.
"What the f—!" Tyrone sputtered, his face a mix of shock and rage.
My friends—Cleo, Sammy, Aubrey, and Vic—were barely holding in their laughter. I could see Kiel and Drew biting their lips to keep from laughing too.
"Oh my God, I-I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to—" I started, but Tyrone cut me off.
"SORRY? You think sorry is enough? And you expect me to believe that was an accident?" he snapped, his eyes blazing.
"I really am sorry! It wasn't on purpose!" I insisted, feeling my face heat up.
"Like hell I'm gonna believe that!" he shot back.
I didn't mean to do it, but his attitude was making it hard to keep apologizing.
Tyrone's POV
I'm Tyrone Montemayor. I'm a model, singer, and campus heartthrob. Rich, smart, and, of course, handsome. My family owns multiple properties, including a company, an island, and several subdivisions in Manila. We also own a car company, and—most importantly—Madison Royal University itself.
Oh, and by the way, I have a secret... But you'll find out in due time.
Now, back to the story...
This girl—Eupi? Euping? Whatever her name is—stood up and gave me a death glare that would have probably killed me if looks could kill.
And then, bam! Her juice goes flying right into my face.
"What the—Sh*t! Damn it, ang lagkit!" I groaned, wiping my face as I glared at her.
"Oh my God, I-I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to!"the nerd stammered.
"SORRY? You think sorry is enough? And you expect me to believe that was an accident?" I barked.
"I really am sorry! It wasn't on purpose!" she repeated, more insistent this time.
"Like hell I'm gonna believe that!" I sneered.
"You will pay for this, Nerd!" I threatened.
"Ang kulit mo, sabi nang hindi ko sinasadya eh!" she fired back, clearly irritated.
"You're the one at fault, yet you have the nerve to get mad? That's bullsh*t!" I yelled, losing my temper.
"You have no right to curse at me! How much is your shirt? I'll pay for it! "아이고, 바보야! 벌레만도 못한 새끼야! 호로 새끼야!" she shot back in another language, clearly pissed off.
"What the hell are you saying?" I asked, baffled.
Kiel and Drew were trying not to laugh, but when I glared at them, they lost it.
"HAHAHAHA! Dude, you look hilarious!" Drew finally let loose, laughing so hard he was clutching his stomach.
"Seriously, why are you laughing?" I asked, feeling more annoyed by the second.
"Because of your face! Hahaha! Dude, she's something else! She's not like the other girls," Drew managed to say between laughs.
Tss. Laugh all you want, Drew. I'm not amused.
"What did she say, anyway?" I asked, looking at the girl who had just caused all this chaos.
She put a finger to her lips, signaling Drew to keep quiet.
"Come on, what did she say?" I pressed.
"Secret, no clue!" Drew grinned, clearly enjoying this way too much.
Annoyed beyond words, I walked out of the cafeteria.
Drew's POV
"Hahaha!" I laughed, recalling the look on Tyrone's face. That girl—Euphy or whatever—she's really something.
Suddenly, an idea struck me, and I pulled out my phone to call my secretary.
KRRRRRIIIIINNNG
"Hello, Julez? I want you to look into someone for me. I need all the details. Everything."
(Okay, Sir. I got it.) Julez replied.
"I need this ASAP."
(Yes, Sir. Understood.)
And with that, I hung up the phone, intrigued by this new mystery.
