"Tony what do we do?!" I call as more of the alien creatures swarm out of the sky.

"We need to protect civilians, now!" He says back and i nod as i close my eyes and make fire come out my palms.

People on the ground gasp in fear and ore, never having seen me and my powers before.

I direct the fire at the people and they shriek in fear, but the fire does not go near them, instead it makes a giant dome around them, protecting most of the town from the creatures.

I sigh as i stop using my powers, the amount of fire i created having an effect on me as i fight to catch my breath.

"You alright?" Tony Stark asks, concerned, as he carries on fighting the creatures

I nod "Why wouldn't i be?"

I watch as the creatures keep firing at my barrier over the city and i just pray that it lasts a while.

Suddenly, i look up and i see Loki, standing outside of the Stark tower, in his fighting outfit.

I turn my whole attention on him.

"You wanted my attention, Loki, well now you have it. Turn off the tesseract or i will destroy it and you along besides it" I say and he smirks, coming towards me as i land in front of him.

"You really think that you could destroy the indestructible force field around it?" He says

"No, but i can try!" I shout and he starts to slash his sceptre at me as i duck out the way.

I use my flames to try to melt it, but it doesn't seem to be working.

I use a different method and i use my fire on him, but he just smirks

"You really think that you can defeat me?! Loki of Asgard?!" He shouts

"Well, jokes on you, you were adopted" I mumble

"What?" He says, shocked and i use it to knock the sceptre out of his grip.

I watch as it falls with a clatter besides me and Loki glances at it before looking worriedly at my hands that are conjuring up a fire ball.

"Loki, you are and always will be my brother, but i need you to stop this... this thing, you are killing innocent people, for what? A little power that you could get ten times the amount of from joining us?" I say and he smirks as he manages to go up behind me with his tesseract sceptre and he presses it to my heart.

"Join me sister, we can rule this planet together, take down your fire barrier over the towns people" he tells me and before i can register what i'm doing i click my fingers and the barrier is gone, the only thing saving lives is gone and its all my fault.

I shake my head, snapping out of my trance, but i can't put the barrier back up now, there are too many creatures that would be trapped inside and would kill them from the inside of it.

I turn to Loki

"You really think that that.. thing" I point to his sceptre and the tesseract "Would control a Goddess?!" I shout, annoyed

"No, dear sister, but i knew it would give me long enough for you to take down the barrier" He says, evilly, with a smile on his face.
