They were the only reason he left LA and feeling the super natural around him made him feel there was something for him to do in this town

Connor did hear stories about it during his time in Quertoth (The demon realm he grew up in within our world is days)
He grew a little grin knowing this was just the place for him to patrol and fight vampires like he normally did in Los Angeles and to his brighter side he no longer had to live in his father's shadow the memory of him and Cordelia still haunts him he tries to shrug it off and then began exploring the town

Connor took notice of the people walking pass him some even made eye contact with him like they never seen a teenage boy by himself but Connor ignored them he never really made any eye contact with anyone in LA
