"Amira! Amira! Amiraaaaaaa!!!!" Charlotte shouted from the school gate. She marathon-ed the distance between us.

Speaking of school gate--actually, just the school, I forgot to endorse to you all what and where it was. Specifically, the name. I called it "The School" and let's keep it that way. I have a feeling, an overpowering feeling people will bother me to say the name. I'd say it when the right time comes.

The tenth graders awoke from her incessant calling, which by the way served as an energy drink and amnesia...you know, to provide energy...and to forget it's Monday. Others were walking half-asleep when she shouted, making them glare at her, but she was too preoccupied by something suspicious to even care. Others thought it was absurd to make such loud noise. Again, she didn't care. Some greeted her but she was deafened by her voice to even respond.

Sheesh, it's Monday morning. How the pancakes did she have an endless supply of serotonin, melatonin, dopamine or whatever-nin?

"Wut?" I lazily said when she gripped my shoulders. I took her filthy hands off me and turned to her. Her orbs started shining like she was a character from Violet Evergarden. She pouted, knowing I told you all how her hands were.

I was caught off guard when she leaped and started hugging me--I mean, suffocating me. With a shrill voice, she banshee-screamed from the top of her lungs. Near my ears. She screamed right beside my bloody ears!

"What the flipping cow, Charlotte? WHAT?" My ears hurt. The sudden scream almost knocked me unconscious. It took me a few seconds to recover my hearing. So far...not good. What a pain in the butt.

She stepped farther away and slowly spoke. "I found a cute guy on Instwagwam! I-I...I-" She breathed heavily. "Last night. It was last night!" And then paused from her incoming barrage of "news".

Charlotte, whose mind was filled with men, their chats....and men, turned almost robot-like as she studied something behind my back. "Oh my mamma mia, added with chilis and paprika! H-he's here. He's here. What do I do, Amira! What do I, in my wild state, doooooo?"

"I guess...stop? You're making a scene." My eyes circled at how ridiculous she's acting right now.

"Bu-but, he'd know I'm hiding from him! That's not the plan, isn't it?" She stomped her foot, annoyed at what I said. It's not like I could offer any more choices, couldn't I?

"What do you wanna do now? Act like a fool in front of him...or hide? Who is it, by the way? And you found a 'CUTE' guy on Instwagwam? I'm an ancient. Whatever do you mean?"

She cupped my left elbow and dragged me towards the school's garden. "So I saw him on Instwagwam. And-and I followed him. The next thing I know he chatted me and said, 'Hey!' and whatever stuff. He really seems like he's into me. Unfortunately, I'm not." Ah sausages! This is taking too long. I knew Charlotte always had the inborn talent to talk about the opposite sex without a break.

She continued, "But oh goodness! He's too cute! So anyway, you see that guy?" She pointed at someone with slicked, black hair. His headphones clasped around his neck. He, most probably, felt someone or some ones looking at him so he looked around until he saw us.

"I see you see. I see, too, you see him see you."

I quickly shifted my eyes to Charlotte. "What the peppers, Charlotte? Are you high? What did you get yourself into? Why's he looking at us?"

"Ok, that's enough assaulting me with questions. First, what about it? Second, yes, I took methematics. Third, I don't know. Last, it's because we're so creepy...aren't we?." She lowered down her voice and excitedly told me a dirty joke: "Oh, by the way, his name's Ryder. I heard he rides-"
